HB2U - Tiddly Inks Challenge NO CARDS!

Hi ya everyone!  I have a little Tiddly Challenge for you today and it's a fun one.  I love making cards and anyone that stops by my blog knows that I make a LOT of cards.  The challenge at Tiddly Inks is to create ANYTHING BUT a CARD!!!  I made a tag as we had a friend's little guy having a big birthday this past weekend.  I created this fun tag for him using the adorable Tiddly Inks Robot Holidays.

I first used my Tim Holtz Tag and Bookplates die in my Sizzix Big Shot.  I used a number of the fun sprays I have in my collection and the great new stencil from Balzer Designs - Tiny Circles.  I also used the awesome new Thickers.

I also made a simple video on how I like to ground images so they don't appear to be floating in space on a white background using my Copics!

I'll leave you with one last image of my tag!  Enjoy your week!

Ain't no Sunshine...

Hi ya everyone!  This week, Some Odd Girl is having a beautiful new clear stamp release.  Today, is the release of Umbrella Gwen, she is ADORABLE and comes as a 4x3 clear stamp set.  For today's card, I decided to do something a bit different and use those adorable clouds from the set.  I love the little face you can stamp on them too.  The sentiment is actually also from Some Odd Girl but will be in a set released later this week.  Make sure to head to the Some Odd Girl blog today for the new release.  You could win one of you own!

Best Wishes

Hi ya everyone!  Today I'm sharing a just for fun!!  I love my washi and often don't use them as I'm always coloring and trying to show that off :)  I used the adorable stamp set from Pink by Design.  I cut out a piece of white paper then covered half of it in my washi and stamped the bottom with my Versamagic ink.  Added some twine and a sentiment and viola that was it!  A simple card that looks gorgeous.  You know, I wish I had lined the white paper with the same cardstock I lined the sentiment in...oh well, live and learn right?

Taking CAS serious at Tiddly Inks

Hi ya everyone!  We have a new challenge at Tiddly Inks and it's a clean and simple challenge - CAS.  Now, I don't usually create CAS cards all that often, as I like my sparkly things and pretty papers.  However, this was a much needed challenge for me as our house has been full of sick kiddos.  Let me tell you, the Tiddly Ink clear stamp sets are filled with little goodies like you see above to create simple, fun and adorable creations in about 10 minutes or less.  Fold your paper, stamp and color and your done.  I used three stamps from two different Birthday sets at Tiddly Inks - Birthday Wishes and Flying High.  Make sure to join us for the challenge at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog, really it will only take you 10 minutes!!!

We have a new image in the shop too!  She's a REAL cutie and perfect for those fun hop into spring cards.  Check out Wryn - Hopping By

She can be found in the Tiddly Inks shop along with other adorable images!

Good Friends Never Go Out of Style - Tiddly Inks

Hi ya everyone!  This is my Tiddly Inks card for the week for inspiration only.  I tried a background with my Copics but didn't end up liking it too much and I added to that by stamping over it.  However, I love the image called Everyday Magic.  I colored her in my Copics and then added a sentiment from the Tiddly Inks stamp set called Stylish Friends.

We have a few days left in our challenge at Tiddly Inks using critters.  Won't you join us?

What Could Be Better??

Hi ya everyone!  There is a new sketch at Some Odd Girl this month!  I just started receiving the Cocoa Daisy kit every month and this paper came with February's kit, and well I LOVE it.  I couldn't wait to use it for something fun.  Those bubbles are just adorable, and the paper matches the Some Odd Girl stamp set Make a Statement.  I stamped the You & me in Versamagic.  I also used the Everyday Smiles stamp set for the sentiment "what could be better?"  Now seriously, how perfect is it that the LOVE bubble is the one that showed up???  Yeah, I planned that :)

Isn't this a gorgeous and simple sketch!?  I love it and found it nice to whip out a card like that.  Won't you join us for the challenge?  There is a fabulous prize for the winner!!
