So Wryn is a web sensation! :) We LOVE her at Tiddly Inks too - and can't seem to design enough creations with her. This card was made using Wryn - Spring Bling but you can find all the Wryn's right HERE.

I used a number of papers from My Mind's Eye. I can't seem to use these papers enough lately. I also added a string of pearls that I received from KarlaS001's etsy shop. I love her shop and she has reasonable prices on so many gorgeous items. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot.

Hi ya everyone...there is a Nouveau release going on at Some Odd Girl! These gals are all fabulous and so much fun to color. I showed you Dancer yesterday in her flaming red dress. Today we are going a bit more magical with this sweet fairy. I love her dainty dress and tiny wings. I also loved being able to color her eyes the way I wanted. Do you Kraft? A unique background on Kraft

Hi ya everyone - Sharing a simple tutorial on creating your own paper using Kraft at She's A Sassy Lady. I colored this gorgeous Some Odd Girl beauty with my Copics. I imagined her in a vivid red dress with luscious dark skin, so that's how I colored her. I quickly realized I couldn't find any paper that matched however. I decided to ink a background using a Spellbinders Impressabilities. Here's how:

Grow - iCopic Card

Hi ya everyone! I'm sharing a very simple card I created using the Some Odd Girl stamp called Grow over on the iCopic blog! I'm so excited that iCopic is now carrying these fabulous gals so I just had to color one up for today. I had a ton of fun using my Copics to color her dress. So many fabulous folds just pop out and therefore, I kept the card simple. Stamping the background paper with the clouds that come with this stamp. The sentiment is also part of the set.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp Grow, her clouds and sentiment. Next, I colored her in the following Copics: C1, C3, C5, C7, 100, R22, R24, R29, E000, E00, E11, E50, E51, E53, G20, G24.Check out all the new Odd Girl stamps right here in the iCopic store!

Sparkle and Shine Challenge - Tiddly Inks

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!! Tiddly TUUUUUESDAY is here!! YAY! I chose to use the ADORABLY cute new image Wryn and Mo - Love you Always image. Isn't it just the cutest!? I used some new My Mind's Eye paper I picked up.

I tried to make a more masculine card this time - yup and some glitter how hard is that!? LOL - So see those large white things?

That's a 3D glue dot - I added sparkle to it - really it was Zing embossing powder - had I to do it over again though I would have used just glitter - as you can see it didn't stick very well...and it's not as sparkly!! Which is the challenge on the challenge blog - Sparkle that card up! I used Copics to color the image too!

Brella Fairy - Some Odd Girl Fairy

Hi ya everyone,
I'm saving my best for last of the fairy release! I love this little gal - Brella Fairy form Some Odd Girl and I had a ton of fun coloring the leaf and adding the raindrops with my Copics! It wasn't easy and I wish I'd planned a bit more ahead of time, but overall I love the effect of raindrops I was able to get on the leaf.

I added a bit of white burlap from KarlaS001 Etsy shop and some other trims and flowers. Some Odd Girl now has all these adorable fairy's for sale in her shop! Aren't they perfect for the upcoming spring!? I so love each of them!

The Fairy Release Continues! - Some Odd Girl

Hi ya everyone!
The new mythical fairy release is still happening at Some Odd Girl. This one - Spunky Sprite - ended up being one of my favorites! I decided to draw a little rock for her to sit on. I ended up using some gorgeous dark earth tones for skin which I think ended up looking beautiful.

I finished by using some lovely papers from My Mind's Eye. I paired it with some flowers from I am Roses. I then added a bit of baker's twine and a little charm I had in my stash.

I finished the card by adding a fabulous sentiment from My Craft Spot. I think it's perfect for a little daydreaming fairy. Please stop by and check out all the gorgeous Design team cards at Some Odd Girl
Helpful Hint - before adhering all pieces of your card remember to think about where you want to add ribbon and twine so you don't have to have it go around your whole card base. It makes for a nice clean look.

Hi ya everyone!
Today is a bit different. I wanted to share some important information with you concerning my blog. You might have noticed that I recently changed the banner and the side titles using some of my favorite images that I colored in my Copics. I wanted to let you know who the artists are and the name of all the images and to let you know that I asked permission of both artists too. First, thanks to Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks who allowed me to use Wryn - Heartfelt Love for all my side titles. Tiddly Inks new WRYN release and a Challenge!

Hi ya everyone!!! There is a new release this week at Tiddly Inks - BIG YAY!!! I'm so excited about these adorable new images and this one - Wryn - Heartfelt Love - is such a perfect match for Valentine's Day! I of course used my Copics to color her up.

HELPFUL HINT: I also used my fabulous Washi tape I got from iCopic and layered it on a piece of white card stock. Next, I used my corner chomper to round the edges. Washi tape created a fabulous background for my Wryn!

I added this adorable sentiment from My Craft Spot and am entering their Valentine's Challenge. I love her sentiments and this one is no exception. Creating Shaped Cards with Spellbinders Nestabilities!

Hi ya everyone! I am sharing at The Bug Bytes today! I have an easy tutorial on how to create shaped cards like the one above using a die-cut such as the Spellbinder Nestabilities. I created a video below. I also made an adorable circle card using the same technique, a Tiddly Inks digital stamp, and Card Patterns sketch.

For those that don't like videos. Simply take a folder piece of paper and attach the die above the fold and tape before cutting in you machine. Here is the other card I created using this technique.

A Gorjuss Milk Carton with Treats!

Hi ya everyone! Today I am sharing at iCopic Lover a little milk carton I made using the ADORABLE Gorjuss Clear Stamp - Little Foxes. This is my first time coloring a Gorjuss stamp, and well, I'm completely addicted to her.

I added a little acetate window to the box so you could see the candy inside and because I wanted a fun home for my image to be placed. I separated the fox from the image and adhered him to her boot and then placed both on top of the acetate window and milk carton.

Before adhering her I colored her with Copic Markers on X-Press IT Blending Card Paper. Next I added a bit of Opaque White using a small toothpick. Opaque White is fabulous for making small highlights on images. There is also so much in a little tub that you are sure to have enough for a long time! I used the following Copics for this project

Hi ya everyone - today is a really special day at Some Odd Girl. As you know Some Odd Girl just turned 2! Two years of amazing images and fabulous creations. What would Some Odd Girl be without all it's FABULOUS customers??? Well - the drawings would certainly still be adorable sweet - but there would be a lot of missing inspiration! The crafty world is such an awesome place - I've never met so many people who care so much about each other without having met in real life! I'm sure so many of you have met one or two of the friends you've found through the crafty world - I know I have - HI YA SHEILA, PAM and ELIZABETH!!! Puppy Love - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
This week at Tiddly Inks we are holding a color challenge! I chose to use this sweet new little puppy image called Silver Valentine this week! Color challenges can often times be very difficult. But, at Tiddly Inks we sort of just provide the color scheme and you can go about choosing the proper hue..makes it simple and fun! Here are the colors:

Pretty colors and can offer a great combination - the blue and orange are such great complimentary colors! So enjoy yourself and make sure these are the prominent colors on your creation!

I realized after making this card that it's a bit top heavy as far as the design goes. I like when my cards are more balanced and I really noticed that it wasn't after photographing it! I used my Copics to color this sweety though and it was a lot of fun to make him a bit shaggy!

Washi Tape Flower Tutorial and Card

Hi ya everyone! I'm sharing a tutorial at She's A Sassy Lady. Today I want to share with you how I made this simple Valentine's Day Card. More specifically how I created these little flowers using Washi tape that I received from iCopic. Washi tape is extrememly cheap and comes in a huge range of colors. It can be used for a number of things but in this tutorial I show you how to make these small roses.

For those that don't like to watch videos you simply unroll over a foot or so of Washi tape and roll it and twist it long ways in your hands. Use a pair of tweezers and start rolling around the tweezers to form the spiral shown on the card. Once you are finished place a pearl in the center and then add a bit of glitter to make it sparkle. I also used my Cuttlebug to create the leaves using Spellbinders Shapebilities.

Friends Are the Flowers of Life - A Tiddly Blog Hop!!!

YAY - it's hop time!!! This just isn't any old hop though - this is a Tiddly Inks blog hop - so the hop list grows and grows!!! First, I'll share my creation with you and I'll add the details later.
The theme for the hop is "Friends are the flowers of life"....so I just had to use this little sweety - Wryn - Grow A Little Love!

The sentiment though on my card really speaks to me about friendship.

I apologize for the poor lighting on this photo - I was having issues with my photo tent and my lights for some reason!!! Anyhow, I used paper from My Minds Eye and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot. I thought this card was a perfect combo for our theme! Now here are the rest of the hop details!!!

Theme: Friends are the Flowers of Life: Use any Tiddly Inks digital image to create a card or project and participate in the blog hop

How to Participate:
This is actually a 4-step process:

One, you have to make the card in advance using a Tiddly Inks image, preferably with friends or flowers as the theme, but it is open to any TI image. Just have fun! :)

Hi ya everyone! Day two of new digi's at Some Odd Girl! I love this spunky character called Coy Kaylee! I wanted to make her a bit trendy - so I colored her hair red and black and put her in a fun outfit! The papers I chose from My Mind's Eye added to her spunk I think!

It's Cold Out There - iCopic

Hi ya everyone! Today is my day to share at iCopic! I'm so excited to be joining this talented group of ladies and want to share my excitement with you! The holidays are over and often times I find myself wishing for spring right away. However, that's just not going to happen and it's still COLD out there! I decided to create this cute card using a winter stamp by The Greeting Farm bought from iCopic called Rain, Snow, Shine. We all need adorable holiday stamps for our holiday cards but often times feel limited with them, but don't! You can still create gorgeous cards with a wintery feel that are perfect before, during and after the holidays.

This is a perfect example. I stamped her on X-press It blending card paper with Tsukineko Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I colored her with Copics in the following colors: E50, E51, E53, E55, BG10, BG72, BG75, E000, E11, E00, R20, W1, W3, W5. The paper is from Pink Paislee. Hi ya everyone! Happy New Year!!! It's 2012 and Tiddly Inks has a brand new release of the most cutey cute girls you've ever seen! The new little addition is called Wryn. I chose two to share with you today - one just for fun and one for the two week challenge at Tiddly Inks! The girl above is Wryn - Close to My Heart.

I used some Recollections paper and kept it simple as the image is really so cute it's enough! The next card is for our fun challenge at Tiddly Inks - Celebrate! You can share a card celebrating anything - birthday's, weddings, the New Year...whatever!

Hi ya everyone! So, it's a New Year and to celebrate the new year Tiddly Inks is releasing a brand new set of images that are just so SUPER cute. I honestly say this about all of the Tiddly Ink images but these are truly special. They speak directly to my heart as they so remind me of my two little girls. I know that each image holds a special place in the designer's heart too as they are drawn and inspired by Christy Croll's daughter! On another note - I wanted to apologize to my followers and my close blog friends for being absent the past few weeks. Coloring on the Cheap!

Hi ya everyone! I'm going to share a very simple tutorial on what kind of images you can color cost effectively. Thank you to the lovely Pam for letting me share with you at The BugBytes today! I enjoy my Copic markers so much and think that they are truly the best marker for coloring large images such as the Tiddly Ink Alice image above. However, for smaller images like the tea cup a cheap pair of Crayola colored pencils will do. Check out my video below!

Hi ya everyone! Last day of reveals at Some Odd Girl. This one is SUCH a cutie too and comes with so many fun accent stamps and sentiments. Hi ya everyone!! Another release today at Some Odd Girl and this is a HUGE stamp set!!! I colored Nutsy Kaylee and her little squirrel friend in my Copics! That's not all that comes with this set though!

Here is one of my favorite images of the new release at Some Odd Girl! Oh my gosh - isn't she just a cutey! I love the expression on her face - it's almost an embarrassed little look that says "I'm so crushin' on you". What better expression for Crushin' Gwen!

The heart u stamp also comes with her and a few other sweet sentiments and images that I didn't use. I used my awesome possum Copics to color her up.

Dreaming of A White Christmas - Tiddly Inks

Hi ya everyone!
This week at Tiddly Inks we are asking you to create a card for a White Christmas using a Tiddly Image. I used Christmas Princess. I thought she'd look gorgeous all decked out in white and sparkle! I also added a shear ribbon and a strip of KarlaS001 pearl strand.

The sentiment that's a bit hidden in the picture is a My Craft Spot sentiment that says I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. I used paper from the DCWV stack.

Foxy and Electric LOVE!!! - Some Odd Girl Reveal

New clear images at Some Odd Girl - WOOT!!! These new stamps are on presale for only $5 now in the shop!! Here's the first cutie I want to share with you today - Foxy!!! Isn't he sweet - I love him. I didn't do a lot of texture on his fur because I wanted to keep the image a bit simple for this card. But you have to look at the other Oddies cards on the blog to see how gorgeous this guy looks with texture too!

I tried to keep this a bit simple for a more masculine card. All papers are from My Mind's Eye. I used the following Copics.

The next creation I want to share with you is a little bit different! Design Team member Corry showed how to do a really cute shrinky dink tutorial on the Nouveau Girls blog and I wanted to try it.

I used Corry's technique although I tried a clear shrinky dink material. I stamped with Staz-On ink on one side and then flipped it over to color as Staz-On will ruin your Copics. I used my heat gun to shrink the material and used it as a charm.

Hi ya everyone! Welcome to The Holiday Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Denine's blog! Wasn't her project gorgeous!? As you can see I created an album and a card. I really love this paper by Bo Bunny. I didn't want to do anything too overwhelming as the paper really is vintage and gorgeous! I started with the card first.

The paper was just so wonderful I decided to alter a three ring recipe book I got for $1 at Michaels. I took all the paper off the outside and re-adhered the Bo Bunny Paper. I then added a number of gorgeous embellishments from KarlaS001 etsy shop. I love all her gorgeous yummies!

OOoo La La - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi ya everyone! This week at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog we are spicing things up! Our challenge is to make a card that will warm you up! Create a sexy or hot card that is. I chose this sweet bubbly bath lady called Take Me Away.

Ah, how I LOVE digi stamps. I tried this card with a smaller full version of her in the tub. However, it just looked too small - so I blew her up!!! LOVE being able to do that! The real steamy part comes in with my sentiment that I created on the computer - Room For Two!!! :oD I used my Copics and some of my FAVORTIE Echo Park paper from Be Mine.

I also followed the sketch at Card Patterns.

I feel like I've lacked a bit of mojo so turning to a sketch always helps! I love the iCopic Lover blog too and they are having a black hair challenge so I'm entering this card there too! I had some fun this weekend and created this card for the Deconstructing Jen Sketch Challenge Blog. Just for fun!! Love when I get to do that! I used this adorable stamp from Some Odd Girl called Sweet Thinkin' Mae. Here is the sketch this week at Deconstructing Jen:

and here is my take on the sketch. Really not much variation. But I wanted to try some fun stamping with the background of Mae.

I created a mask for Mae and then stamped with some Inkadinkadoo stamps and Tim Holtz Antique Linen distress ink. I of course used Copics to color Mae to match this fun paper from My Mind's Eye.

This week is still an anything goes at Tiddly Inks - but I wanted to share a card I made using this adorable snowman. I can't find him in the Tiddly store anymore so I think he's retired! But Christy has so many other snowmen you must check them out - HERE.

I colored him in my Copics to match this adorable Christmas Bo Bunny paper that my sweet hubby got me. I added some glitter to the snow and simply cut the snow mounds from white paper and added some of the same dots from the snowman with Copics.

A Two Week Anything Goes - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Cris-Cross Holiday Card

Hi ya everyone! Today I am sharing at She's A Sassy Lady. I loved these Cris-Cross Cards as soon as I saw them. They are very simple to make and are a great size for Christmas and gift cards.
Here's how I did it:

For those of you that don't like to watch videos - here are the dimensions to make the Cris-Cross card.
Card Envelope
2 - base cards - 5.5inch square - cut fronts at diagonals - one bottom right to top left and one bottom left to top right.
1- square cut at 5.25inch square and cut on the diagonal
2 - square cut at 5 inch square and cut on the diagonal in different patterned papers
Insert piece
1 - 5.25 square in solid card stock
1 - 5 inch square in patterned
1 - 4.75 inch square in solid white

Hi ya everyone!! It's FRIDAY!!! You know what that means Fabulous Inky Friday at Tiddly Inks!! On Friday's we get to showcase all the fabulous cards and projects we see during the week that feature Tiddly Ink images! I love to make a special card for this day if I can and I chose to use the new Tiddly image called Happy Birthday Girl.

A Cozy Fireplace - forget the lights - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
This week there is ANOTHER anything goes at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog!! Woot! It's fabulous this time of year considering things start to get SO very busy - and let's be honest - we all need to fatten that Christmas stash - so why not get a Tiddly and join the fun!! You could win more Tiddly images!

I've been working on a few techniques that I've learned in my Copic certification classes. This one is using radial light from a source such as the fireplace. You can see that I've tried to highlight areas where the fire light would fall. I'm learning and hopefully will improve but I love the effect.

For this card I used Minnie's Christmas Lights and Christmas Mantel - both can be found in the Tiddly Inks store. I love how Christy the creator of Tiddly Inks makes her images SO very easy to layer. Each image is filled with white - not clear - when you choose the png file. This allows you to layer them one right on top of the other with out ever opening up a complicated program - no erasing and no fidgeting!! Love it!

Altered Jewelry Box - Some Odd Girl Nouveau line

Hi ya everyone! I have a project I made using this gorgeous girl from Some Odd Girl named Believe. You've seen a few projects before with her, but I promise this one will be different! I created a fun jewelry box for my oldest daughter. She just got her ears pierced and needed a place to store all her cute ear rings.

I started with a wooden box from Michaels. I painted it with Gesso first and then a Champagne Metallic paint. I used My Minds Eye paper on the top along with a few mulberry paper flowers and trims from Frog Feathers Etsy shop.

I added a Theresa Collins jewel to the front and also some Recollections bling. I didn't photograph the insides but I did add a small mirror for her so she could see her ears as she's changing them!

I'm starting to catch the altering bug and have asked for a number of fun embellishments for Christmas this year!!!

Giving Thanks - A special release from Some Odd Girl

Hi ya everyone!
Today Kristy of Some Odd Girl has a mini release just for Thanksgiving. You know I love Thanksgiving - thanking those that are close to you and for the blessings in ones life is truly a special time. We have a tradition we just started where everyone writes down what they are thankful for. We keep the cards and each year we can read what we were thankful for then and compare to now. I LOVE it - I get to watch the kids grow over time on these cards. It also makes me smile to just pull them out and read! So having said that I love Thanksgiving!

Grow Mini Album - Nouveau Girls from Some Odd Girl

Hi ya everyone! Today I'm sharing a mini album I created with the new line of stamps at Some Odd Girl called the Nouveau Girls! I love these ladies - so much in fact I've created my first mini album along with a number of other fun projects. Nouveau Art - Some Odd Girl Photo Inspiration

Hi ya everyone! Today we have a new challenge at Some Odd Girl Challenge Blog. The below photo is to be used for inspiration and the artwork is by Alphonse Mucha called The Thisle from the Sands. Please click on the image for the source of the picture.

Kristy has created a beautiful line of Nouveau inspired clear stamps that can be found HERE. I thought this was going to be a bit more challenging at first. I knew I wanted to use the new Nouveau Girl - Believe. I also knew that golds, reds and warm tones would be my Copics of choice. But what element did I want to enhance? I chose the spirals just to the left and right bottom of the image of the woman in the artwork. I'm not sure why this stuck in my head but it did.

I chose some paper that I had in my stash that was black and had some swirly circles in it. Then I repeated this pattern with my twine. I really enjoyed coloring and creating this card. Have you heard the news! Tiddly Inks is accepting a few applications now for new Design Team members! So if you are interested check out the details HERE. This is pretty exciting news as it's been over a full year since Christy has had any design team calls. So head over and check it out.
Second, we have a new challenge this week at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and it's an anything goes! Isn't that perfect this time of year. We all get so busy with holiday functions, school functions, and weather issues that being able to create whatever we want is so nice! I created this fun accordion fold card for a tutorial and wanted to share it again.

Here is the inside of the accordion fold. Notice on the inside the adorable Lillie Claire Bouquet. She is a Tiddly Ink stamp for sure.

But, did you know the words called Doodle my Heart, dream live and be happy are Tiddly Ink stamps too! I love these bubbly type words because I can color them with my Copics as well and everything is matchy match!

Here's another shot of the front and I colored another Lillie Claire Bouquet - this way when it's closed you have an adorable little sweety or when it's displayed open she is there. A Tiddly Halloween - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi ya everyone! Halloween is quickly approaching and you know that Halloween is the Tiddly crew's favorite holiday! So we are celebrating in style with a Halloween card this week. I chose one of my favorite Tiddly images for this challenge. I think she might have been one of my first images I ever purchased actually! This is Higgelty.

I had so much fun coloring her up for this challenge. I also did some paper piecing with her little purple patches on her robe. Simple Treat Holders - Pumpkin Cups!

Breast Cancer Awareness - Meljen's Designs SPECIAL Release

Hi ya everyone! Today Meljen's Designs has a very special release in honor of the survivors, fighters, family and those lost to Breast Cancer. I'm dedicating this card to my favorite aunt - Jane. She is a breast cancer survivor now for many years. I admire her in so many ways as she's always been a constant in my life. I don't remember her fight against cancer but I do know how strong she is now. I hope if I'm ever faced with this trial in my life I will battle like she did.

This past week I was asked to do a little Copic demonstration on The Odd Girl blog for the owner and illustrator of Some Odd Girl. I jumped at the chance - this is the card I created for the demonstration. Halloween Cutie - Meljen's Designs Challenge and Release

Here is a little card I made while relaxing at the beach on a crafty weekend with some FABULOUS ladies! I had so much fun and cannot wait to do it again. For everyone out there wondering if they should get together for a crafty weekend with the girls - OH MY GOSH - DO IT!!!!
Ok, now for my card - I LOVE these two images (remember my pumpkin coloring love) - well I just had to include him into the card - Surprise Pumpkin. I also used this Little Witch Hazel - tell me she's not too adorable. Here is the whole fun release however:

So fabulous and perfect for Halloween!!! All new images can be found in Melissa's new shop right HERE. The challenge this week is to use ribbon on your card - now seriously - how easy is that!!! The ribbon I used is Seam Binding dyed with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists!!! LOVE THEM!
