Friends and Thank Yous - Paper Cutz Challenge #57

Hi everyone!!
Today is my first post as a Paper Cutz design team member.  I couldn't be more excited!  I love the challenges that they have to offer and you could be entered to win the grand prize!  The challenge is easy - 3 colors, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon!  I liked this challenge so much that in the end I made about four cards for it! LOL granted I made three as a set for myself - I really needed some thank yous and I made my first easel card!

Let's start with the easel card.  I used some very easy directions from the CardMaker magazine but there are plenty out there if you do a google search too!  This one happens to fit in an A2 envelope which I like!  I used some pink, white and green as my three colors with paper I used for a set of thank yous a friend needed.  I cut the hearts on my Cricut using Gypsy Wanderings - I just love the simple objects with the light scrolling from this cartridge!  I used my cuttlebug and some nestables for the sentiment paper and the scalloped circle behind.  I then used my Stampin' Up ink from the Bold Brights collection to ink the edges of my paper and to stamp friends.  I added one little white ribbon around the bottom and two buttons in pink and green to two of my hearts!  Finally, I popped a few hearts up off the card and added a bit of stickles to the hearts.  Under the front panel I put a place for a quick written note too.

Now on to the three thank you notes.  These were very simple 5x5 cards - did you know that if you send a card over 61/8" it's over a dollar!  So I've started making 5x5's instead - it's only two stamps! LOL

Anyhow, I used my Stampin' Up paper (pink, blue and white) and ink for the sentiment.  I also added a tiny pink ribbon and two blue buttons.  I purchased the images from All that Scraps in a collection called Kiki La Rue.

I colored all three with my Copics and cut with my cuttlebug and nestables.

I really had fun making these little thank yous for the challenge - make sure you join in the fun at Paper Cutz this week!!
Enjoy!
