Artist Trading Cards - Tiddly Ink Challenge
Hi Ya Everyone!!
Ok...ok - Artist's Trading Cards - at first I was like what the heck???!!! These are all the rave right now - I've seen a number of artists showcasing these are their wonderful blogs - but honestly, I thought oh those are cute and didn't think much about them. Then the wonderful owner of Tiddly Inks shop and blog and her amazing Design Team created some for the new challenge at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. Well, you know I LOVE Tiddly Inks, so I decided to give it a go. All I can say is - OH MY GOSH - I LOVE making these things!!! I made four in a night and a half! When was the last time you took maybe 3 hours to make 4 projects??? Me, never - I'm sort of slow and methodical when it comes to my cards and projects - but this helped me 1) get of a little slump 2) really enjoy coloring and coming up with something in a small space!! I loved it - but when I finished - then I thought ok, crap now what do I do with them??? LOL - but what a wonderful idea to send them out with blog candy or in little crafting projects as a sort of business card! On the back I have my information for anyone to contact me!!! Right - what a wonderful idea this is and I'm so thankful to the Tiddly Inks crew for some beautiful inspiration and a superior idea!
On to the cards!
Each image is a Tiddly Ink image. You can find each image at the Tiddly Inks store by clicking on the name: Light My Life, Lara Belle, Angle Q, and Christmas Princess. Colored them up with my lovely Copics and found papers I liked to adhere them to!
Added a bit of bling, ribbon, and computer generated setiments and I was done. For Laura Belle above I also made some background paper from a computer generation of things people call me - the good things at least - LOL!
OH, I paper pieced the Christmas Princess b/c she was just too cute not to give an amazing snow outfit. Added a little Stickles to her too!
Thanks for taking a peek - and you should really make some of these - they really are so fun! Check out the inspiration at Tiddly Inks - you will be so happy you did! Join in the fun too - you could win more digitals from Christy!!!
Enjoy!
