Christmas Ornaments - A little too early!!!

Hi ya everyone!
Getting a jump on my Christmas stuff - here are some simple ornaments I made!  My LSS has some clear glass ornaments that I picked up.  I also got Martha Stewart's tinsel glitter in red and green.  I made a funnel out of paper and filled each glass globe with a mixture of the two glitters.  I then cut out snowflakes on my Expressions from Accent Essentials.

I added the shadow as well but hid some of the contours on the inside.  I took the snowflake and ran it through my Xyron upside down.  I added some fine stardust glitter to each snowflake and mounted them on the shadow cut.  Next, I punched a hole in each snowflake and ran a white sheer ribbon through and looped it on the ornament hook holder and tied a simple bow.

I love the way these turned out!  I made 10 and have a few special friends to send them to!  Thanks for looking!
Enjoy!

  11. did you add clear glue in the ornament first?...filling it all the way with glitter would be a mess if they broke?
The tinsel glitter looks so much better that regular glitter!

  12. Nope no clear glue - and yes it would be such a mess!!! However, Sheila at She's A Sassy Lady has one she did a year ago and she used furniture wax which makes it stick really well without any clumping!!!
