All That Glitters Blog Hop Day 2 - Card Holder

Hi ya everyone,
Welcome to day 2 of the blog hop.  Now not everyone has a new post - but some made extra projects.  I made one extra thing for the hop.

This is my card holder which is very simple to make.  I used the Noel from Christmas cartridge cut out the three layers and added glitter to the top (embossing powder) and bottom (MS tinsel glitter) layers using my Xyron and ATG gun.

I used pop dots for dimension and then strung a shear ribbon between the two cuts.  I then added some glittery snowflakes to the ribbon.

I hung the holder up and then strung some of my cards along for display!  I love this quick easy project!

Now, for a chance at my second bit of blog candy ($10 to Tiddly Inks Digital Stamp Store) please leave a comment under this post telling me your favorite Christmas memory.  Remember to scroll down and post a comment on my first blog hop post for a chance at the pictured blog candy!

  4. What a wonderful idea. Great way to display cards. Thanks for sharing. I would have to say my favorite Christmas memory is when my youngest boy was 5 and in the hospital. My oldest boy who is 3 yrs older decide we couldn't have Christmas at our house it had to be at the hospital with his little brother so we moved everything to his room at the hospital. We decorated everything in his room. The look on both of my boys faces was precious and I will always treasure and hold that moment in my heart forever.

My mom took me into the attic & showed me my doll, her high chair,& stroller,( I have 3 sister & we had identical dolls except 4 hair color.)this was before Christmas, I was not allowed to tell I saw the dolls to anyone, but I think my mom did the same with my sisters, this was always her favorite holiday & she just couldn't keep the surprize to her self!!! I miss her so much!!!

We got the air mattress out and slept on the floor in the livingroom. In the morning I felt like a beached whale trying to get out of bed, but it made my son so happy!! TFS!

  29. Oh Melissa,

I am totally going to try to make one of these tonight! This is such a great idea and I hadn't thought of anything for Christmas Cards this year! YAY! Thanks so much for all your work on the blog hop! It's been a blast and I hope we lived up to the challenge. It sure has been fun and the best organized I have ever seen!!! YAY!

Oh... When I was little, I really... really wanted an Atari. We had our family Christmas early and went to my Grandma's house. On Christmas morning, I was so ticked off because Santa didn't have anything for us at Grandmas and no Atari. I just couldn't believe that he showed up and didn't leave me anything. Well I stewed on it the rest of the day and the entire trip home. I got out of the car and stomped into the house feeling really sorry for myself. When I walked through the kitchen, I could see lights in the living room. We didn't leave any lights on. When I rounded the corner, the Christmas Tree was completely lighted and there was a plate of cookie crumbs and an empty milk glass on the coffee table. There was a note from Santa on the table saying... Sorry I missed you but you didn't tell me you were going out of town. Hopefully the special gift will make up for it. Under the tree was an Atari. Ever since then... I know there is a Santa Clause and he always comes through! My aunt & uncle lived next door and had a key... but Santa left everything at the house! It was the coolest Christmas Ever and I have been a believer ever since!!!

    Most Sincerely,
    Bobby & Jill
