I so love this Some Odd Girl image and to be quite honest it's for a very selfish reason. My sweet husband just bought me a new camera. I'm slowly learning the ins and outs of picture taking without a simple point and shoot. I am so loving it too! I was inspired to use this sweet image from Some Odd Girl called Photo Kaylee for this month's sketch challenge at the Some Odd Girl blog!
Such a fun sketch don't you think? I love the centered portion and the sentiment below. Photo Kaylee comes with so many cute little stamps too that I used those as well. The Smile sentiment, the hearts and the little Polaroid photo too.
I always love a good sketch challenge, don't you? Sketch challenges really help me get out of slumps. If I feel like I can't create I always turn to this method for inspiration.
I used my Copics for this card. I used them to color the image and the pearls. You can click on the picture to see the markers a bit closer.
Now, the GOOD stuff - Kristy is giving away some fabulous prizes. One prize Fan a new Nouveau girl is for a random winner...
and her favorite card/sketch will receive TWO clear stamps - Birthday Mae and Baker Mae...
Amazing prizes!!! Make sure to join us for our March Sketch challenge so you have a chance at these fabulous prizes! I can't wait to see what you create!
Also, be on the lookout for a new digi release coming next week from Some Odd Girl!
