Everyday Card using Some Odd Girl Image

Hi ya everyone!I made a simple card using the adorable Some Odd Girl - Nouveau Girl - Grow. I love this stamp and the accents and sentiments that come with her are fabulous!

I colored her dress before anything else and felt I had a slight dilemma with the apple. I didn't think red would look good with this color of dress. Although, the more I thought about it the more I thought it might look fantastic! Once I colored the apple I decided that red accents were the perfect pop of color with this blue green dress!

Once I had the general layout of the card using paper from Bo Bunny and flowers and lace I wanted to pop in that red with more accents. I added red roses and a bit of red card stock behind the sentiment to bring out that red. Often times adding pops of color will really make a card/creation come to life in a new way.
