What's Moooo?

 Hi ya everyone!
I got some extra time this weekend and decided to make a card using my new clear stamp from Some Odd Girl.  I got this fun cow called Mooey during the release!  Oh, what's that you say???  Don't like to buy clear - well it's in digi form too - right HERE - although the sentiment only comes with the clear stamp.  Anyhow, off on a tangent.  I made this card for the Card Patterns Challenge following this sketch:
I also have to say that at Some Odd Girl's facebook page if you enter another challenge using their images and post it to their facebook page you are qualified to be in a drawing for free images from the NEW release that will be soon! Awesome huh??
Here are my Copics for this project:

Ok, colored Mooey up in my Copics and added some accents with my white gelly roll pen.  I also created a bit of a background for Mooey by making some juicy grass and a fence to keep him contained!
I grabbed some cute paper from Echo Park and accented with Black Bazzill cardstock.  I used my Lacy Circle nestables and my circle nestables for Mooey.
I also used the banner from Echo Park's Springtime collection.  I added a bit of black bakers twine and some gingham ribbon with the sweet sentiment that came with Mooey!
If you have any questions please feel free to email or comment!!!
I'm also adding this card to the Card Makin Mamas Challenge - which is a recipe challenge - 1 image, 2 patterned papers and three different embellishments (banner, ribbon, baker's twine).  Guess who's sponsoring too - Some Odd Girl!!!

Hello Rain - Crafty Creations Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
This week at Crafty Creations we are sponsored by the lovely Kristy of Some Odd Girl!!!!!!!!  Love her adorable stamps.

I set the challenge this week and since I'm in Portland and the rain never stops I get a lot of inspiration for this challenge - Rain Cards!!!  Either through an image or a scene show us the rain!  I chose this ADORABLE little image from Some Odd Girl called Puddle Hopping Tia.  Oh my gosh - isn't she cute!! I colored her in pinks, blacks and grays to match some AWESOME Echo Park paper I got recently!
I used a sketch from Card Patterns this week so I will also be entering their challenge.  Here is the sketch:
I cut the scallop portion on my Cricut as I don't have a scallop border punch...I'm starting to think I need one - because this was sort of a pain on the Cricut!  It worked just fine and I was able to get it the exact size I wanted but a border punch would have been easy! LOL
After laying the design out I used some Teresa Collins bling and also the Hello is from Clear and Simple stamps.  I hope you join our rainy challenge at Crafty Creations this week - you could win free digis from Some Odd Girl!

A Blingy Little Christmas - Paper Cutz Challenge

Hi Ya Everyone,
This week at Paper Cutz Mary asked us to design a card for you that was Christmasy and blingy!!!  I used a Tiddly Ink image this called bah-hugg-a-bug.  I colored them with my Copics.

I also followed the Card Patterns sketch.

I added some sparkly paper from the DCWV Christmas stack I picked up and also used some sparkly Christmas tree buttons.  I then added more sparkle by using Stardust Sparkles.

Thanks for checking out my card and head over to Paper Cutz and enjoy the fun!  I also need to add that though you can't see a ton of bling it really does sparkle!
Enjoy!

My Friend - Card Patterns Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
I made this card for fun!! That's what I said for fun!! No special occasion just felt like coloring!  This image "Donna" from Tiddly Inks was so much fun to color too! The whole weekend has been rainy in Portland and that was the inspiration for this card.  Sometimes I have a hard time with my layout - so I turned to Card Patterns - they always have GREAT layouts and it's so much fun to see a sketch and turn it into my own.  Copic Creations is also having a challenge to use the color orange!  So I splashed a bit of orange in my image and in some surrounding flowers!  Guess who is sponsoring them!! Yup, Tiddly Inks!!
I colored Donna in Copics and cut and embossed her with my circle nestables from Spellbinders.

Next, I found this nice green paper that matched the background paper perfectly and used my Scalloped circle nestables. I then cut a flower out on my Expressions from Walk In My Garden.  I also cut a smaller circle out with my nestables and cut those into two separate pieces and mounted them on each side of my image.  I also added a small brown ribbon and a stamped sentiment.

Oh, the background paper - isn't it CUTE!!!  It's from American Crafts and it's called City Park - Woodland park! I love it!  Finally, I added some glossy accents to the umbrella, rain boots and rain jacket!  Thanks for taking a look and check out Card Patterns and Copic Creations for some great inspiration and a number of wonderful cards!!!
Enjoy!
