Back to School with Tiddy Inks!

Hi ya everyone!  It's officially Tuesday...well somewhere anyhow.  We are kicking off the school year right at Tiddly Inks with a fun back to school challenge.  Get out your favorite coloring medium and hit the books.  This is a perfect time to make those cute little cards and gifts for your favorite teacher or student. 
For my creation I used to of my favorite Tiddly Inks images, On Cloud 9 (I edited out the clouds) and School Boy!  There are so many perfect images from Tiddly Inks for back to school.  Check out the challenge blog to see all of the amazing design team creations!  Join us for some back to school fun!

Pregnant and Loving It - Whimsy Release

Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps February 2013 rubber stamp and die release!

Today, Whimsy Stamps is releasing 22 fantastic new Rubber Stamps and Stamp Sets, 5 wonderful new Whimsy Shapeology Dies, 2 fabulous new Shape EZ by TLC templates, and 2 beautiful Whimsy Designer Paper 6x6 packs. From today until 26 February, the Whimsy DT and our February Special Guest Designer, Louise Roache, will be showcasing these new products with a daily mini blog hop. Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw by leaving a comment on every blog listed for that day.

At the end of release week (Wednesday 27 February) a release round-up will be posted on the Whimsy blog together with a complete list of winners from the daily mini blog hops.

Today, I used the new rubber stamp by Crissy Armstrong image called Pregnant and Loving It.  She's gorgeous and was a lot of fun to color too.  I paired her with some fun Graphic 45 paper and a number of flowers and My Mind's Eye resin dots.

School's coming soon - Some Odd Girl Release

Hi ya everyone!
  There is an adorable new release at Some Odd Girl so you can get a head start on things for school.  I made this card using Teacher's Pet Tia for my daughters new teacher.  I think a Hello sentiment is perfect for a new teacher card too!

I'm not entirely sure why I colored her in black and white with a pop of color in the apple other then I thought it might be fun.  I like doing black and white occasionally and it helps me when I'm in a time crunch as I don't have to match all my Copics to my papers.  The paper is Graphic 45 ABC Primer.
