Accordion Fold Tag - Creative Critterz Imaginations

Hi ya everyone - today is my turn to share at the Creative Critterz Imaginations blog and I'm sharing with you a simple tag I created using my Imagine and the accordion fold technique I learned from Bobby at The Cricut Couple.  Sheila at She's A Sassy Lady is also showcasing this technique and hosting a small challenge - so I couldn't resist!  This is such a fun addition to any project and using the Imagine with it was TRULY fun!  The fold is eye catching and very simple.  In the following videos I show you start to finish how I made this tag using Cricut Craft Room!  I have to be honest - it seems that since I've updated my Imagine and Cricut Craft Room - things seem to be running smoothly and I LOVE Craft Room!!!
Please watch part 2 for the final tag design!
I hope enjoyed today's simple tutorial.

Dream Bookmark - The Imagine and Iron On Transfer

Hi ya everyone!  I love fabrics because they add so much dimension and texture to any project.  I kept my love of fabrics in mind when I created this bookmark.  Reading is a getaway of sorts for me and because of this I decided DREAM would be a perfect sentiment for a bookmark.  Isn't that the great thing about books.  You can sort of dream yourself into another world and time.  Getting lost in a good book is about as wonderful as getting lost in my craft room!  Now, combine those two loves and you get this simple yet beautiful bookmark!
Recipe
Imgaine
Cricut Craftroom
Iron on Transfer Paper for InkJet printer
Imagine cartridge Imagine More Cards - for patterns
Imagine cartridge Blast Off - for font
Imagine cartridge Lori's Garden - for image
Iron
White Canvas Material
Ribbon
DCWV paper - Glam Girl
Adding some simple stitching will ensure my canvas doesn't fray completely away - but I did fray the sides a bit for more texture.
Adding the ribbon was sort of an afterthought.  I wanted a delicate touch.  I simply added a strip of ribbon adhesive and bunched the gingham ribbon on the pink satin ribbon.  Finally, I stitched across them both using the same pink thread I used on the earlier.

Get Well - Imagine Card

I've really needed a break from coloring lately.  Don't get me wrong I LOVE coloring - but just a change of pace for a few days - it's been a busy week!  So my Imagine is getting a work out and I'm loving it!  This paper and flower cut is all from Lori's Garden.  This is a gorgeous cartridge filled with fabulous papers and designs.
I've needed some simplicity in my card making and the way to add something special to simple is dimension.  So I added a few layers of flowers and popped the background square off the card as well.
I stamped the Get Well with Versafine ink and added a white satin ribbon that seemed to pop with the soft blues.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
