Frienship is a Treasure - Whimsy Stamps Challenge

Hi ya everyone!  There is a fantastic stitching challenge on the Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog.  You can do real or faux stitching and today, I've chosen to use real stitching.  I also used the new release image from Whimsy by Elisabeth Belle called Li'l Bells Snack Time.  I also used the Everyday Sliders 1 and die for the sentiment.

Join us for the challenge, you could win some awesome prizes to the Whimsy Stamps shop!

Metal Challenge at Whimsy

Hi ya everyone!  New challenge on the Whimsy Stamps Challenge blog today.  It's a fun one and will get you to use those stashed metal embellishments.  The challenge is to use metal and I did so with my button that's a bit hidden under the butterfly and also on the little brad on the seed packet.  I used a number of fun embellishments on this creation.  The stamp is from the new release at Whimsy called Vintage Seed Packets 2 which I stamped in Versamagic Ink.  The seed packet die is also new from Whimsy.  I used a piece of chipboard from Whimsy too, called Butterfly Swirls which I painted with acrylics.  Last, but not least, the paper is from the new paper from Whimsy called New Beginnings.  The lacey die is from Cheery Lynn Designs and the leave pattern is as well.

Whimsy February Challenge

Hi ya everyone!  There is a new challenge on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog today!  The challenge is fancy edges!  I thought this would be a perfect challenge to use my Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities!  These are fabulous for making fun shaped cards.  I have a tutorial right HERE on how to make shaped cards using Spellbinders.  The adorable image is a Wee rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Playful Kittens.  Four cuties come in this set with a number of sentiments.  I paper pieced the heart with my My Mind's Eye Blush paper.  The kitty was colored in my Copic markers.  The fancy edges that you see behind the kitty was made with the NEW Whimsy die cut Lace Doily Corner 2.

Make sure to join us for the Whimsy Challenge - fancy edges this month!  If you haven't gotten a chance to check out the new January release you must!!!  There are so many cute images and new dies.  You can find all of them showcased HERE.
