LDRS Creative Release Day 2 - A Very Happy Birthday

Thank you for joining us on our LDRS Creative inspiration week blog hop! We are so excited to feature what was showcased at Creativation in January! There are lots of gorgeous projects using products from our new release. In this release, we are introducing interactive stamp and die combos, fabulous paper doll dies, and TONS of products to fit everyone's taste!

Yay!  It's release day 2 at LDRS Creative and today, I let my stamps do all the work!  You guys the new Goody Gumdrops stamp set is to die for!  I used it along with the new Life is Sweet stamp set to create this fun and easy birthday card.  I first stamped all the images in my Raven Hybrid Ink!

Then I colored them in with colored pencils.  Isn't it so pretty on the beautiful purple paper!?  I also added some white highlights with my pencil and with my white enamel.

Merry Christmas from Owl of Us!

Hi ya everyone! I love the versatile stamp set called Arctic Snowfall from LDRS Creative. It has owls and foxes and great sentiments.  I paired it with the new Build A Card Die set called Garden Escape and the beautiful Holiday Paper from LDRS Creative.  This particular set is out, but you still have time to purchase the beautiful Country Christmas and Gnome for Christmas.

First, I cut white card with the smallest shape of the Garden Escape Build a Card Die Set.  I cut that in two and adhered it to the holly paper cut to 3.75 x 5 inches.  I then stamped the adorable Owls and sentiment in LDRS Creative Raven Hybrid Ink.  I colored the owls with my colored pencils.

I then adhered this to a piece of red card stock cut to 4 x 5.25 and placed on an A2 card base.  I used the extra holly paper to cut out a few of the adorable holly and adhered them on the branch the owls are sitting on.  

I also cut out an extra Garden Escape die and used just the corners on the bottom of my card.  Last, I added some red sequence.

Sweet Peak Day 3 at SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!  Today is release day 3 at SugarPea Designs and check out these two cuties!  I love the Hedgie Hugs set that I colored in Prisma.  So much cuteness mixed with adorable flowers.  You can see in my pic that little guy riding in the wagon too!!!  How sweet.  The sentiments are simply adorable too.  I paired them with the Spots and Stripes Bright paper from SugarPea as well as the Postage Stamp die.  I also used the new Message Board die for the brown trim behind the postage stamp die!

You are so Loved - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I'm guest designing for SugarPea Designs and I’m super excited to share a simple project with you using one of my favorite stamp sets, Pretty Peonies.  The sentiments that come with the images are perfect and the font is so pretty. 

Today, I did something a little different, in that I created the same card twice, one on white cardstock and one on kraft card. The style looks very different even though it’s the same design.

First, I stamped the image in Versafine Clair Nocturne on white cardstock.  Then I colored the image with my Prisma Pencils.  I used the same colors on both the white and kraft.  However, you can see below, how different the looks really are.

Once the images were colored I used the SugarCut Postage Stamp to cut the edges and then placed both on an A2 base with the same color as card used to color.  I think the outcome is beautiful and it shows the versatility of your stamps!

I'm Here for You

Hi ya everyone!  Since I've been out of crafting for awhile I've really wanted to try out new stamps and there are so many adorable images out there.  Today, I'm sharing a card with an image from A Day for Daisies called, Bitsy Bug Lily.  I colored her with Copics and Prisma colored pencils on XPress It blending card.  I used a Lawn Fawn sentiment from On the Mend.  The paper is Vintage Bliss from Simple Stories.
