Vitamin Sea - Picket Fence Studios

Hi ya!  I have another adorable Picket Fence Studios card I'd like to share with you today using their A Dose of Vitamin Sea set and coordinating dies.  They just came out with another set that has narwhals and I might have to pick that one up too.

For this card I watercolored the background with Prima Classics.  I then stamped my small fish and sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne.  I colored the whales in my Copics.

I have to tell you, I used a new product that Imagine will be releasing very soon that you are going to love.  It gave a beautiful even shine to my whales that I LOVE.

A Hug Just for You!

Hi ya everyone!  I wanted to play with some of my awesome new stamps from Picket Fences Studios.  This adorable set is called I am A Hugger.  I ordered these cuties from 7 Kids Craft Store and received them so fast!!! Love when a company sends things fast.

I colored these little ones in the following Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13
Dress/Hats:  YG61, YG63, G46 and V01, V12, V15
Dots:  Colorless Blender

I then cut out the images with a stitched circle die from Lawn Fawn.

I took a black piece of cardstock and stamped with my VersaMagic Chalk Ink - Pretty Petunia and Aloe Vera succulents from SugarPea Designs. I love this ink for stamping on black!  It shows up and only needed stamped once.  I also colored a banner with my Copic YG61 and stamped my sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne.

Thanks for stopping by today!  You can also find me on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram; links above.

You're My Hero

Hi ya everyone!

Today I've done something a bit different for my Imagine project.  The team all made a creation with directions and then swapped the directions!  Then we completed a project following the directions only with no pictures/images.  Mine came from the extremely talented Kassandra Tousignant.  You can visit her blog here:  Kassy's Parlour

I also created a video of my process for the Imagine blog!  I mention all the products I use in the video.  Please visit Imagine, Whimsy Stamps and SugarPea Designs for the products used.

Hugs Bunny and a New Stencil from Whimsy!

Hi ya everyone!  Another cutie to share today.  This new bunny set called Hugs Bunny is just so sweet.  It's great for a sympathy card or any card where you need to give someone a hug.  I continue to be amazed by the cute things that Whimsy Stamps has every month.  Check out the stencil too on this card.  I used shimmer creative medium from Imagine on vellum with the new pinwheel stencil!  Underneath, I sprayed a sheet of bristol smooth with various Fireworks Sprays.  The frame was cut with the new Rectangle Shaker Maker from Whimsy.  I of course colored the bear and bunny with Copics and fussy cut them to adhere to the front.  I don't think this needed a sentiment but I did add a sweet one in the card itself.

I loved this set so much, I wanted to also try to make a card with mostly just the stamp set.  Check out how cute this turned out.  Spring colors were a huge inspiration for both of these creations.  I colored them with Copics in mostly pastel colors.  I then chose pastel Fireworks Sprays and sprayed some Bristol Smooth paper and then die cut with the same Rectangle Shaker Maker die.

Gingham Background and Bunnies Flying High

OH my gosh!!! I'm so excited about today's release!!! These bunnies are the CUTEST.  Truly, the best part of this set is the Gingham background stamp I used.  Even though I used a die cut afterwards...you guys, that stamp is a MUST have.  I just love it and will use it for so many of my cute cards.  I also used Fly By stamp set for the sweet clouds in the background.  This card is chalked full of Whimsy items.  You can find them all linked below.  I also used Summer Sky and Angel Pink Fireworks Sprays for the cloud background.  The gingham was stamped in Delicata Pink Shimmer and the sentiment was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne.

Hi ya everyone!  I am a day late and a dollar short this week.  Easter being on April 1st just confused me!!!  How could I forget the new Whimsy release!?  I LOVE this new release.  So many adorable images perfect for spring, including bunnies, fairies and some beautiful delicate stencils that I really adore.  Today, I will share this new set called Fairy and Unicorn Greetings.  A fantastic red rubber set with the two images above and a number of sentiments.

I colored the image in Copics and fussy cut them out. I used the Dangle Star stencil from Whimsy with Mango Madness VersaMagic ink which I then embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then, I used a number of Fireworks! Sprays (Bahama Blue, Sky Blue and Rose Bud) from Imagine on Bristol Smooth Card.  I decided to make a fun shaker card with this set too!  Make sure to check out all the new images from Whimsy available in the shop now!

XOXO - In Love with Stencils!

Today, I wanted to go for something a bit different.  No coloring this time, just some gorgeous inks, stencil and papers!  I used the dotted rounds stencil with my champagne Delicata ink.  The combination is shimmery, light and gorgeous.    Look at the shimmer!

I layered it over some paper I received years ago in Cocoa Daisy kit.  I also added the beautiful chipboard sentiments that Whimsy has from Make It Crafty.

Espresso Yourself

It's a coffee kind of day, don't you think?  I created this fun shaker card using the adorable Coffee Break stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.  I love this set as it's perfect for all those everyday cards.  I thought turning it into a shaker card was a nice touch.  I stamped the coffee beans in Jumbo Java VersaMagic Ink and set it aside to dry.

I used Emerald Green Delicate ink to stamp the coffee cup and then I colored the cup with the Delicate Emerald Green ink by using a fatastix brush tipped applicator.  I embossed the sentiment at the bottom with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.  I finished by adding the shaker elements from a number of sequences I had in my stash from Whimsy.

I hope you have a fantastic day.  Make sure to check out all the newest release stamps from Whimsy too.

Bring on the Chocolate - Whimsy Stamps Release Day 2

Hi ya everyone!  Day 2 of Whimsy Stamps release.  Today, I'm sharing with you the cutest little gecko red rubber stamp called Gecko Love.  I inked the background with my VersaMagic Chalk Inks.  Then colored up this cutie with my Copics.

After I colored him in Copics, I went back used my Copic Opaque White to add some adorable little spots on him.  I think they added some nice highlight and some fun interest to an otherwise green gecko!  I'm already thinking about Valentine's Day can you tell!?

You can find all the new release images on the Whimsy Blog.  Remember, all the new images will be available for purchase on December 7th.
