Hoppy Spring - Sweet November Vault Release

It's the perfect time to pick up your Sweet November digital images from 7 Kids Crafts.  I used the adorable Baby Bunny.  I colored him in Copics and made a green spring background.  You should come over to the 7 Kids Facebook page as there is a freebie using this cutie from Sweet November.

Hugs Bunny and a New Stencil from Whimsy!

Hi ya everyone!  Another cutie to share today.  This new bunny set called Hugs Bunny is just so sweet.  It's great for a sympathy card or any card where you need to give someone a hug.  I continue to be amazed by the cute things that Whimsy Stamps has every month.  Check out the stencil too on this card.  I used shimmer creative medium from Imagine on vellum with the new pinwheel stencil!  Underneath, I sprayed a sheet of bristol smooth with various Fireworks Sprays.  The frame was cut with the new Rectangle Shaker Maker from Whimsy.  I of course colored the bear and bunny with Copics and fussy cut them to adhere to the front.  I don't think this needed a sentiment but I did add a sweet one in the card itself.

I loved this set so much, I wanted to also try to make a card with mostly just the stamp set.  Check out how cute this turned out.  Spring colors were a huge inspiration for both of these creations.  I colored them with Copics in mostly pastel colors.  I then chose pastel Fireworks Sprays and sprayed some Bristol Smooth paper and then die cut with the same Rectangle Shaker Maker die.

Hello Spring - New Release at Whimsy Stamps!

Seriously, what says spring more than a cute bunny picking flowers?  I love this new image from Whimsy stamps by Lee Holland.  I created a background in Copics for my jumping bunny and decided to use a lot of green to really say spring.  The chipboard is also from Whimsy by Make It Crafty.  My Fireworks Sprays are gorgeous on the chipboard letters too.  I used Angel Pink for the front and Dessert Sand for the background letters.

Make sure to check out all the new images at Whimsy Stamps this week!

Tip Toe Through the Tulips - Meljen's Designs

 Hi ya everyone!
Just a sweet and simple card this week.  As you know I love Meljen's Designs images and you can find all of them right HERE at Whimsy Stamps.  They are so sweet and it's easy to create a simple card with them.  I colored the image Tip Toe Through The Tulips in my Copics.
I highlighted a few areas with my white gel pen.  Mounted them on yellow and on red and added bakers twine and a little button.  Very quick and I love how it turned out!

Sweet April Showers - Tiddly Inks Challenge

 Hi ya everyone!!
This week at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog we are challenging you to create a card using rain showers and/or flowers for this spring season.  It seems that so many are talking about the weather and everyone is patiently waiting for warmer and sunnier weather.  I know in Portland we definitely are!
I created this card using a new Tiddly Ink image called Flutterby.  I think she's so adorable - and for this challenge all I could think of was how stormy weather brings gorgeous summer days filled with flowers and butterflies.  I colored her in Copics and cut her out with my oval nestabilities.
I created a scene using my Tim Holtz Inks - Black Soot, Broken China and Lavendar - these were used to make a stormy sky.  I also added some rain with markers.
I then took a sponge dabber and added clouds with Black Soot - then took my water pen and went over the clouds.  Finally, I added stickles to the clouds and rain.  I also computer generated my sentiment and used nestabilities.
Thanks for stopping by today and head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to celebrate Spring with us!  Don't forget to use your own Tiddly image that can be found here - and Christy is already adding new images to the store right HERE!
