Giving Thanks with Whimsy Stamps

Hi everyone!  I water colored this cutie with distress inks.  I wanted to try something different. I love this image and the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps called, Wyanet.  I loved the simple layout of this card and enjoyed water coloring the whole scene.

In hind site I wish I had colored the rock in a gray to blend more with the sky.  I also might have changed sides of the sentiment and image.  Lol, I love picking apart my creations.  This is how we learn.

You can find all the Wee stamps at Whimsy Stamps including this cutie!

Autumn Blessing Linen Tags - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a little project I created for my Thanksgiving table.  Is it too early to be planning for Thanksgiving??  Well, maybe but it's my favorite day of the year.  I love having family around and being comfy in sweats and eating LOTs of good food.  So, I decided to spice up my dinner this year with these cute tags created using SugarPea designs clear stamp set, Indian Summer and the die cut, With Love Tag, also from SugarPea Designs.

I colored these cuties in my Copics.  You can see all the colors below.

I had so much fun coloring these little pumpkins.  SugarPea Designs has some of the most adorable stamps around, so you must check them out!

Thanksgiving Blessings with SP & Company

Hi ya everyone!  There's a new theme at SP & Company this week.  Giving Thanks!  I made this creation using the adorable Mouse with Cornucopia.  This little guy was so fun to color especially with all that scrumptious food.  The sentiment is part of the stamp set too!  The buttons are gorgeous and are also from SP & Company.  The colors are clownfish, blue lagoon, walk the plank and summer sunshine.  I used my Copics to color this cutie!

So Blessed, So Thankful

Hi ya everyone!  There's a new theme at SP & Company this week, SWEETS!  It's a perfect time with Halloween on the way.  I also love yummy treats at Thanksgiving, and this adorable image from Gill Roberts, Pumpkin Pie Mouse was perfect for my cute little treat container.  I used this fall color paper and matched buttons in Clownfish and Sandcastle from SP & Company.  I added a bit of burlap ribbon to tie up the container.  Make sure to head to the shop and pick-up some adorable images and accessories for all your crafty needs.

Giving Thanks - A special release from Some Odd Girl

Hi ya everyone!
Today Kristy of Some Odd Girl has a mini release just for Thanksgiving.  You know I love Thanksgiving - thanking those that are close to you and for the blessings in ones life is truly a special time.  We have a tradition we just started where everyone writes down what they are thankful for.  We keep the cards and each year we can read what we were thankful for then and compare to now.  I LOVE it - I get to watch the kids grow over time on these cards.  It also makes me smile to just pull them out and read!  So having said that I love Thanksgiving!
The first card I'm going to share is Pilgrim Tobie - Isn't he cute? I'm entering this card into the Pile it On challenge!
Next up we have Indian Tia
Isn't she just the sweetest?

Finally, a TURKEY!!!  What would Thanksgiving be without the BIRD!!!?

Too cute to eat right?
I hope you enjoyed the release and will go pick your own up at the Some Odd Girl Shop.  Also, check out what my teamies made HERE -their creations are amazing!!! All of my sentiments are from the fabulous Kimberly at My Craft Spot and I'm entering their challenge this week too with my turkey card!

So Thankful - Paper Cutz Challenge

Hi Ya Everyone,
This week at Paper Cutz Mary has asked everyone to create a Thanksgiving card using buttons and bows!  Had a lot of fun with this challenge as I love buttons and bows!  I also love love love Thanksgiving!!!  The food and the family and friends is just the perfect holiday to me!!!  All of my favorites!  I decided to color up a fun Thanksgiving dessert - Pumpkin Pie.  This adorable stamp is from the Meljen's Designs newest release Pumpkin Pie Slice.  Also, all Meljen stamps are half off right now!!!  Colored the pie with my Copics.

I computer generated the So Thankful right on the stamp and cut it out with my scalloped oval nestable.  I then used a few different layered papers and mounted the pumpkin cut-out on top.  I took a piece of burlap stuff (LOL - not sure what to call this stuff) and put a little ribbon and a button with some hemp twined in it.
Fall colors are just beautiful!!!  I love this time year and the colors of fall are so fun to work with on my cards!  I hope you like the card and head on over to Paper Cutz and participate in this fun challenge!
Enjoy!
