Hi ya everyone!  If you know me at all, you know I'm a sucker for fruit stamps and while I don't post all the cards I make with fruit stamps, I do love them.  I couldn't resist the new Big and Bold stamps from Colorado Craft Company.  I used the Hugs and Pears stamp set that you can find HERE.

You also know that I adore my Catherine Pooler inks to watercolor with.  I used a number of gorgeous colors for this card, including: Eucalyptus, Green Tea, Spruce, Shea Butter, Polished, Sand Castle, Over Coffee, Icing on the Cake, Black Jack, Twilight and It's a Boy.  I used the fabulous Fabriano 140lb paper with my Silver Brush watercolor brushes.

Catherine Pooler and Colorado Crafts Company Blog Hop

Hi ya everyone and welcome to the Catherine Pooler and Colorado Craft Company blog hop!  We are so excited to have everyone join us for this event and hope you will hit up each blog for inspiration.  There will be two $30 gift certificates, one from Colorado Craft Company and one from Catherine Pooler Designs.
Make sure to comment on each blog as one random comment winner will be chosen to win a $30 gift certificate.

Today I've created two cards for you using Catherine Pooler Inks for a watercolor look.  For the first card I've used the beautiful Lovely Legs Autumn Season stamp set and used the Catherine Pooler Paradise Found ink colors to watercolor the entire scene.  I've also paired it with the beautiful Fall Pick-n-Mix paper pack and the Just Thanks sentiment Die.

I also added some beautiful embellishment with the fancy Mystic Sequins from Catherine Pooler.  I used Acquarelle watercolor paper.

For the next card I created a fun Wizard of Oz inspired creation using the new stamp set from Colorado Crafty Company called Ruby Slippers which is part of their BIG and BOLD collection.  The sentiments in this stamp set are just fabulous and it was so fun to watercolor those shoes!

Again, I used Catherine Pooler inks to watercolor the entire scene.  To finish this card off, I added Wanderlust sparkle to the shoes for a very sparkly slipper.  I also added Catherine Pooler sequins in Crater Lake and Aspen to the want tip to look like Glenda's beautiful wand.

Now, make sure to head to everyone's blog to say hello!  You will be blown away by the gorgeous creations from everyone.  Amber is up next on the blog list below:

Flying High Friends with MFT Stamps

I fell in love with the new stamps from MFT that come in their card kit for this month.  I didn't buy the kit because I have so many of their papers already, but I did buy the stamps and dies!  The stamps are called Sky High Friends and Best Adventure Bears.

All the images were colored with Zigs and the backgrounds were colored with Catherine Pooler inks.  First I watercolored then ink blended.

I also created one of these beauties in a Facebook Live right HERE.

Missing You with Catherine Pooler, Sweet November and a Facebook Live

Hi ya everyone!  I am finally getting around to sharing a card I made during a Saturday Night Live on Facebook.  We had a good time making this card, but I will say, it's a bit different from what I did in my Live.  I taught a watercolor background technique for the lanterns and honestly, I didn't like the results during my Live.  Therefore, I changed things up a bit.  If you have watched the LIVE, I'd like to give a small tip to get better results:  make sure your yellows are smaller in size than I show in my Live and make sure the color is separated.  It creates a much more life like lantern glow.

Don't forget, I used the beautiful new Catherine Pooler stamp set called 4-Ever and Old Oak Tree rubber background stamp to create the scene!  I also used the sweet little Snowbeary from Sweet November Stamps to finish this scene!

Bubble Over with Fun and Sweet November Stamps

Hi ya everyone!  I made a fun and simple shaker card using the new mermaids from Sweet November Stamps.  I watercolored the whole scene, including those cute little mermaids with Catherine Pooler inks.  My watercoloring still needs work and I am practicing.  I find myself reaching for my Copics when I really want to show off my skills.  However, watercolor is difficult and requires much patience.

Make sure to check out the Sweet November Stamps new CLEAR stamps!  You will love the adorable Mermees (not shown) and the Merwees that I used above!

Time Spent with a Friend with Hello Bluebird

Hi ya everyone!  I was so inspired by all the new Hello Bluebird cuties that I pulled out my fall and Christmas release stamps to create a spring themed card.  I actually used a number of stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird:  Fall Banner Buddies, Woodland Littles, Strawberry Jam, Ocean Scene die and Winter Woods Overlay die.  I watercolored most of the scene in Catherine Pooler ink refills. However, the critters were colored in Copics.  I hope I've inspired you to pull out your older stamps while we all wait on our new shipments from Hello Bluebird!

Rolling into a Birthday with Catherine Pooler Stamps and Inks

Hi ya everyone!  My daughter Anna will be celebrating a birthday in a few short months and she is such a Visco kid that the 80s totally speaks to her.  I decided a great card for her would be the four wheel rollerskates from my childhood.  She loves to roller skate with the old timey skates!  No in-line skates for that kid.  The Catherine Pooler new stamp set called Let the Good Times Roll is perfect for creating that fun birthday card.

The skates were colored in Copic markers.  The background was created by using Catherine Pooler ink refills to create a fun and stunning watercolor background.  I then heat embossed the hearts and stars from the set and finished it off with sequins.  The skates were popped up off the background with foam dots!
