The CUTEST Alpine Village

Hi ya everyone!  I am so excited about the new Catherine Pooler release.  This Nordic Folkstar slimline die is just beautiful.  I like using as a die and a stencil to put snowflakes gently in the background of scenes.  The little houses from The Alpine Village stamp set are so perfect with the little trees.  These sets work so amazingly well together.

I added a few of the Glacier Bay sequins to finish this card.  Make sure to check out all the new products!

Warm Bunny Wishes with Catherine Pooler

This new release is knock your socks off wonderful everyone!  I used the new stamps and dies called Bunny Slopes, Alpine Village and Folkstar slimline die. I actually used the die to make a stencil to stencil in the beautiful snowflakes into the background of my scene.

The bunnies were stamped in Ink on 3 fade out ink and colored with Copics for a no line coloring.  I also used the new Oak City sequins.  All inks for blending and stamping were Catherine Pooler inks in the following colors:  Twilight, Cranberry Fizz, Deck the Halls, Skylight, Sandcastle, Daydream and It's a Boy.

Bunnies, Villages and Birches OH MY with Catherine Pooler Designs

Hi ya everyone!  I am so beside myself with this new Catherine Pooler Designs release.  I mean the cutest stamps ever.  The new Bunny Slopes stamp set is to die for!!!  I loved coloring them up in my Copic markers and matching them with the new White Birch Tree Cover plate.  There are just so many beautiful sets with this release.  The little house is from The Alpine Village stamp set and the paper is from the In the Alps patterned paper.

The sentiment is from the sentiment set called Cuddle Weather.  I went direct to paper with my Twilight ink to color the banner then used White embossing powder for the sentiment.

Make sure to check out the new release available WEDNESDAY OCT. 28th!

Warm Winter Wishes with Evelin T Designs

Hi ya everyone!  I practiced a mirrored stamping technique using just a block of uncarved red rubber. I need to make the mirrored image a bit softer but it was fun to practice with these cute Evelin T Designs Fun in the Snow stamp set.

The scene was colored in Copics and splattered with white acrylic paint.  I also used an adorable MFT die to finish it off.

Skating by with Club La-La Land's October Kit

Hi ya everyone!  I'm sharing a bit of inspiration for the October Club La-La Land Crafts Kit.  This is a monthly subscription where you get so many fabulous products.  The best part is you get to choose between receiving the dies and stamps or perhaps you just want the stamps.  You can pick which you prefer.  I used the adorable Marcie and one of the cute skating pigs that come with the kit.  I decided they needed to be fashionable with a bit of burberry pattern!

I also used a number of the dies in the background too!  The sentiment also comes with the kit.  The only thing I used in this scene that didn't come with the kit is the solid card stock!  Isn't that awesome.  You literally need ink and solid paper to create any of the cards I'm showing you today, along with the kit of course!

I needed to use these piggies in a scene as well!  All images today were copic colored.  Using the sweet dies and stamps I'm able to create a fun winter scene.

This kit is all over and I'm sorry if you missed it.  However, a new kit will be releasing soon!  So make sure to join us at Club La-La Land to get a glimpse of what's coming next!

Creating Winter Magic with LDRS

Hi ya everyone!  I love the adorable images in the Arctic Snowfall set from Little Darlings.  I wanted to incorporate the Mountains and Treeline stamp too!  While these last two come with amazing dies, I wanted to combine them using the fun masking paper and simply fussy cut right to the line.
I first stamped one set of the Treeline Stamp.  I created a mask and covered that first stamp.  I then stamped the treeline just over the first stamped treeline image.  Next, I covered the second treeline with the mask and stamped the Mountain stamp.  I then removed the mask and fussy cut the combined trees and mountains!
I paired some of the beautiful Arctic Snowfall 6x6 Paper in the background to create my sky.  I used the same paper pad to create my snowy bank using the Snowy Day Border (that's on sale!).  I colored those cute foxes with my alcohol markers and adhered everything to a A2 size card!  Last, I stamped the sentiment from the Hot Chocolate Stamp Set.

Mixed Media Warm Winter Wishes

Hi everyone!  I've been so excited to share this card I made using these adorable houses from Tiddly Inks called Harmony at Home (clear stamp).  I created a mixed media background on Canson 140lb cold press water color paper.  I used my Twinkling H2O watercolors first.  I then took iRESISTable and did a crosshatch pattern for clouds with The Crafters Workshop stencil called Stencil Clouds, TCW230.

I took a white acrylic paint and painted over the clouds.  I stamped all of the houses down on the paper.  Then I stamped three houses on regular paper and inked them with VersaMagic inks.  I then fussy cut them, trimmed them out with my 100 copic and glued them to my card.  I took my Big Pitt Brush pens and went over the edges of the houses and smeared them with  my hand.

Last, added a sentiment from Whimsy stamp set, Holiday Mini Sentiments and added sequences.  Oh and I then I added the shabby frantage embossing enamel.  I love that stuff!!!

Skating Fun - 7 Kids Challenge

Hi ya everyone!  I picked up this adorable rubber stamp from 7 Kids by DreamerLand Crafts, Skating Rink Fun, recently and I LOVE IT!!!  These stamps are so cute.  I didn't know they existed until shopping at 7 Kids and just stumbled across them.  They are really adorable and have so many cute ones.  7 Kids just got a whole new batch in too.  I want them ALL!!!!  Hubby had to put a spending ban on me though with Christmas around the corner :)

Decided to do something different and color on Kraft, Neenah Desert Sand 80lb.  I love it.  The beautiful BG colors look so gorgeous on the craft.  I colored with my Copics and used the same techniques that I use on white paper.  I also sketched in a background and put some fun pine trees around the frozen pond.  I placed the whole scene on paper from Bella Blvd. called Santa Stops Here.

In the end, I added some Shabby Chic Frontage to create the snow affect.  The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamp set Mini Holiday Sentiments.  I'm going to enter this into the 7 kids challenge too!  I love the quick shipping and the variety of things you can purchase there, especially these adorable Dreamerland Crafts stamps!

Snow Buddies

Hi ya everyone!  Hope you have had a great weekend.  I got lots of fun crafty projects done and had a full day of relaxation with my hubby too while a friend had our kids.  I feel productive.  I decided to create this cute card using the new Tiny Townie Frida Loves Frosty from Stampingbella.  I picked this cutie up with the Halloween sale at 7 Kids and I suggest you head over there as they are having a sale now too!

I colored her in my Copics and created a fun background as well.  I used my Whimsy Snow Flurry set for the sentiment.  I then went over the whole snowman in Wink of Stella so he'd sparkle.  I finished by putting him on this SUPER CUTE paper from DoodleBug Designs called Milk and Cookies.

I loved coloring this fun image.  I can't wait to share more projects with you this week, so stay tuned!!!
