Happy New Year - Paper Cutz Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
This week the fabulous Mary of Cardz TV has asked her Design Team at Paper Cutz to create a New Years themed project that includes a banner!  I have been really short on time so I got my project done in the nick of time!  I used a fantastic stamp from Bugaboo Stamps called Scarlette Party!  Isn't she classy??

I love her long elegant dress and it was so fun to color.  I used From My Kitchen cartridge to cut out the martini glass in acetate and a shadow in a DCWV paper.  I adhered all the pieces and colored my stamp with my Copics.  I made a little banner from my Give A Hoot cartridge and cut a computer generated sentiment with my nestables.

Finally, I added a few stickles here and there. Oh yeah, the background paper is from my Christmas stack from Cricut!

  1. What a fabulous card. I love that banner I may have to get that cartridge just for the banner. Your coloring is awesome as always, you really do need to tell me your secret

  2. I love this card and the Martini glass is awesome. The acetate gave a realistic look to the glass. TFS

  3. I love Ms. Scarlette Party. She is one cool lady. I like how you colored her. You are so good.

  4. What a fun card you have created! Love the way you cut the martini glass from acetate and stuck that cute little olive in it!!
