 Hi Ya Everyone!
Some exciting things coming your way this year from the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!
TiddlyInks
The amazing team has come up with some wonderful ideas for challenges, themes, and tutorials!  You won't want to miss one challenge - why?  Because if you participate in all the challenges set for the month you will qualify to win a $25 gift certificate to the Tiddly Inks store!  so make sure to check out the store - pick up a few of the new images to add to your collection and have fun!  Here's a sneak peak of the colored version of Donna's Adventure: Click to see the whole image!

This months theme concentrates on you - that's right YOU! We all craft for different reasons but for the same too - we love art and creating with our hands!
Here is what Christy had to say about the new year at Tiddly Inks:
"we will be creating a monthly theme and the challenges will build up that theme. This month, the Tiddly Inks blog is celebrating new beginnings by saying "Let's refresh ourselves and our creativity." Stamping and coloring is something that I do for me...just for fun and just because it is such a joy to create something from scratch and see it turn into a piece of art. Plus, I get to buy paper and lots of little sparklies....LOL"
This week we ask you to create a card that's refreshing - all white except for the image - and I mean everything - embellishments, papers, ribbons!!! All white.  All white is amazingly stunning too!  So head over and check out the GORGEOUS inspiration from the Design Team.
I used an image I love called Sollytude - oh my gosh - tell me she doesn't just embody the relaxing zen you reach when sitting at the craft table! LOL  I love her and it was so much fun to color her in such a peaceful state with an all white background to surround her.
I used my Spellbinders stencil embossing plate for the circle embossing on this shimmer white paper and then cut it out using my nestable circle.  I also embossed the background she's on with my cuddlebug folder Scroll Work.  I popped her off of the circle and the circle off of the background.  Attached two white pearls and was done!
I love the effect of the whites...the stamp stands out so well!  Love this challenge - head over to Tiddly Inks and refresh yourself this week!

  11. Mellisa, she is beautiful! Love your coloring as always, and that embossing plate design adds so much elegance. Are those gold plates that I have seen in the stores? I have always wondered what that is. You put the plate over your paper and them emboss with an embossing tool right? I have been practicing my coloring like crazy. I feel like I am getting better. I think I may wind up becoming addicted:)

    Hugs,
    Stephanie
