Thinking of You - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi ya everyone!  There is a new challenge at Tiddly Inks...and it's my favorite kind, Anything Goes.  I had colored up this sweet mermaid months ago and was excited to play around with some watercolor, stencils and mixed media supplies.  I colored her in my Copics.

You might be able to tell that my E markers were getting a bit gunky, so the blending is streaky.  I refreshed them with new nibs, more ink and a cleaning.  The background was made using my fabulous twinkling H2O water colors in meridian and Teal zircon on Canson watercolor paper.  The stencil is from Whimsy stamps and was just released.  I dabbed on some luscious Shimmery Silver Delicate ink with the stencil.  I added a bit of twine and ribbon.  I also cut out this sweet doily using a Cheery Lynn designs die.  The sentiment was heat embossed in silver using a SugarPea Designs sentiment from the YOU set.

Head over to Tiddly Inks and join our challenge!

Holly's Hippo from Tiddly Inks

Hi ya everyone!  I am super excited to share this adorable image with you today from Tiddly Inks.  All I want for Christmas is a Hippopotamus!  Have you seen all the news regarding Fiona, the tiny (not so tiny) hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo?  That's my hometown and when Christy the artist at Tiddly Inks drew this cutie I couldn't stand it.  The digital image is called Holly's Hippo and can be found in the What's New section at Tiddly Inks!

I colored these cuties in my Copics.  I created a hardwood floor and blue wall to help the image pop.  I layered them on some cute paper from Bella Blvd Santa Stops Here.  I then stamped the holly jolly sentiment from Whimsy Stamps in Memento ink.

Christmas Cheer with Tiddly Inks

Did you get a chance to see the new images Christy released on Tiddly Tuesday?  These two are just too cute and come together as a little set.  I love them so much.  Fun and easy to color for quick holiday cards.  You can find them here, Snow Day.

I colored them in my Copics and sketched in some pretty pine trees to create a little pine forest scene.  I added some Shabby Frontage Embossing Enamel for a snowy effect!  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Abstract Christmas Tree.  I love how this card turned out.  Make sure to grab this cute image today!

This image would also work for our Friends and Family Challenge too!  Bonus!!! Join us.

Mixed Media Warm Winter Wishes

Hi everyone!  I've been so excited to share this card I made using these adorable houses from Tiddly Inks called Harmony at Home (clear stamp).  I created a mixed media background on Canson 140lb cold press water color paper.  I used my Twinkling H2O watercolors first.  I then took iRESISTable and did a crosshatch pattern for clouds with The Crafters Workshop stencil called Stencil Clouds, TCW230.

I took a white acrylic paint and painted over the clouds.  I stamped all of the houses down on the paper.  Then I stamped three houses on regular paper and inked them with VersaMagic inks.  I then fussy cut them, trimmed them out with my 100 copic and glued them to my card.  I took my Big Pitt Brush pens and went over the edges of the houses and smeared them with  my hand.

Last, added a sentiment from Whimsy stamp set, Holiday Mini Sentiments and added sequences.  Oh and I then I added the shabby frantage embossing enamel.  I love that stuff!!!

Peace Love and Joy

Hi ya everyone!  It's Sunday, which is always a little sad since work is tomorrow, but I do have a fun card to share with you today.  Check out this cute creation using some new elves from Tiddly Inks, Cute and Clumsy Elves and Elf Delivery Service .  These little guys are just having too much fun preparing for Christmas.  I colored them in my Copics.

I decided to go with some bright fun colors to match the elves personalities.  I combined the two images since you get png files from Tiddly Inks, so it is very easy to lay the two images together and print out your scene.

This would be a fun card for the Tiddly Inks Challenge this month friends and family.  Please pick up your image from Tiddly Inks today and join the fun.

Season's Greetings with Tiddly Inks

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I'm showcasing one of the new gorgeous florals that Christy at Tiddly Inks designed.  I love this gorgeous poinsettia!  I attempted a watercolor first and bombed it.  I decided to pull out my trusty Copics after that and felt much more comfortable with the results.

I added a bit of sparkle with my Wink of Stella which you can kind of see in this image tilted to the light.  I added just a touch of pink to the leaves to really make the leaves pop and make them truer to a real poinsettia.

I really had a good time creating this card.  Coloring the poinsettia was a lot of fun and it made for an easy Christmas card!  The digital image also comes with a row of three poinsettias.  You can purchase it here.  The sentiment and little enamel flat painted dots are from Whimsy stamps.

Too Much Candy - Tiddly Inks

Hi ya party people! Check out this adorable card I made using the new Tiddly Inks Digital Image called Pumpkin Juice Party.  It's ONLY $2!!!  I love all these cute kitties.  If you buy the image you get each individual kitty too!  If you don't want to color the whole scene you don't have too!

I had so much fun coloring this image with my Copics!  I tried to have the moon reflecting off multiple items in the grave and added a few names to the stones!

We are having a fun challenge at Tiddly Inks this week!  Make sure to head over and play.  The challenge is SPOOK-A-BOO...so anything Halloweeny or Spooky will work.
