A Simple Kitty Hello

Hi ya everyone!  I am an animal lover and for some reason kitties have been my go to image lately!  I decided to color up these cuties from The Greeting Farm called Kitty Stacks from 7 Kids.  This is a simple card using just the stamps from the set and my Copics, which is perfect for The Greeting Farm challenge this month!

I'm doing a coloring tutorial on November 18th on how to color kitty fur just like above!  So make sure to join in.

Have a great weekend!

Peaceful Blessings - Whimsy Stamps

Hi ya everyone!  I created this elegant card for the Whimsy Stamps release at the beginning of October using the new CAS (Customer Appreciation Stamp) Snowman Tidings stamp set and the gorgeous die set called Peaceful World.  I simply die-cut the words in red paper three times and stacked them up and glued them together for a dimensional look.

I then just double stamped the trees and added these little birds in VersaMagic Chalk Inks.  The red really popped on the white card against the gray trees.

Make sure to head to Whimsy's and purchase at least $75 in product and get this stamp set for free!  This set will be available next month for purchase.  But I have to say, it's one of my favorites from the new release because it's so versatile.

Floating by to say hi!

Hi ya everyone!  I'm back with a new creation using an adorable Tiddly Inks image called Floating By Clear Stamp set.  I did something a little different and used some cold press water color paper and painted some water colors from Koi to create a watery scene.  I then colored up this adorable image in Copics and popped her off the back of my card.  The sentiments are included in this set.  I added a touch of stardust stickles.

The challenge at Tiddly Inks this week is Clean and Simple!  So hard for me!!  Check out the other team members and enter for your chance to win a digital gift certificate or be featured on Fabulous Inky Friday!

Happy as Happy Gets!

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I'm sharing a simple card with you...why you ask...well...my coloring mojo is on hiatus.  I don't know why, but I've needed a coloring break.  SP & Company stamps, inks and buttons are perfect for my unfortunate need for no coloring.

Often, coloring for a card and putting it together can take a very long time too and  I've been busy with family and a new job so being able to grab items that match is a perfect solution.  SP & Company offers these gorgeous buttons with matching inks!  I grabbed the two that match and threw this card together using the Chevron background stamp inking it up with the Ocean Waves and Sandcastle inks.  Then matched the same colors to the buttons!  EASY!  I also used an adorable sentiment from the Sunshine Emma set.

Best Wishes

Hi ya everyone!  Today I'm sharing a just for fun!!  I love my washi and often don't use them as I'm always coloring and trying to show that off :)  I used the adorable stamp set from Pink by Design.  I cut out a piece of white paper then covered half of it in my washi and stamped the bottom with my Versamagic ink.  Added some twine and a sentiment and viola that was it!  A simple card that looks gorgeous.  You know, I wish I had lined the white paper with the same cardstock I lined the sentiment in...oh well, live and learn right?

Taking CAS serious at Tiddly Inks

Hi ya everyone!  We have a new challenge at Tiddly Inks and it's a clean and simple challenge - CAS.  Now, I don't usually create CAS cards all that often, as I like my sparkly things and pretty papers.  However, this was a much needed challenge for me as our house has been full of sick kiddos.  Let me tell you, the Tiddly Ink clear stamp sets are filled with little goodies like you see above to create simple, fun and adorable creations in about 10 minutes or less.  Fold your paper, stamp and color and your done.  I used three stamps from two different Birthday sets at Tiddly Inks - Birthday Wishes and Flying High.  Make sure to join us for the challenge at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog, really it will only take you 10 minutes!!!

We have a new image in the shop too!  She's a REAL cutie and perfect for those fun hop into spring cards.  Check out Wryn - Hopping By
