In the Clouds with Dreamerland Crafts

I colored up this ADORABLE Dreamland crafts stamps that my good friend Tracey got me for Christmas in Copics!  She is called With You. I also watercolored the background and added some Dr. Ph. Martin's White Bleed Proof ink that won't react with the background watercolor for clouds.  I stamped a background music staff with the MFT Stamps Musical Background stamp.

I also used the Whimsy Stamps cloud die to cut out these clouds.  The background was watercolored with Daniel Smith watercolors on Arche's 140lb Cold Press paper.

Thank You My Friend - 7 Kids and Dreamerland Crafts

Hi ya everyone!  Did you know that 7 Kids Crafts Store has a sale on Dreamerland Crafts right now? Use code DREAM to receive 20% off Dreamerland Crafts AND washi tape!  How fun is that?  I colored up this little cutie in Copics and paired her with some fun plaid papers.

I love Dreamerland Crafts!  The images are adorable and sweet and simple to color.  I actually cut this stamp into two pieces so I could stamp more bubbles into the scene.  The sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios.  I added some beautiful blue sparkly Nuvo drops.

Skating Fun - 7 Kids Challenge

Hi ya everyone!  I picked up this adorable rubber stamp from 7 Kids by DreamerLand Crafts, Skating Rink Fun, recently and I LOVE IT!!!  These stamps are so cute.  I didn't know they existed until shopping at 7 Kids and just stumbled across them.  They are really adorable and have so many cute ones.  7 Kids just got a whole new batch in too.  I want them ALL!!!!  Hubby had to put a spending ban on me though with Christmas around the corner :)

Decided to do something different and color on Kraft, Neenah Desert Sand 80lb.  I love it.  The beautiful BG colors look so gorgeous on the craft.  I colored with my Copics and used the same techniques that I use on white paper.  I also sketched in a background and put some fun pine trees around the frozen pond.  I placed the whole scene on paper from Bella Blvd. called Santa Stops Here.

In the end, I added some Shabby Chic Frontage to create the snow affect.  The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamp set Mini Holiday Sentiments.  I'm going to enter this into the 7 kids challenge too!  I love the quick shipping and the variety of things you can purchase there, especially these adorable Dreamerland Crafts stamps!

You are Loved - A watercoloring experiment

Hi ya everyone!  I've been venturing into a new world of watercoloring lately.  Now, it's sort of with a twist, as I don't have a ton of watercolors.  I used my variety of VersaMagic Chalk Inks.  They blend well and go onto paper so smooth.  I created this card using the adorable image I got from 7 Kids called Caring for My Little Ones.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper and then created my background with my VersaMagic inks.  Lastly, I used the same inks to color in the image of the girl.  I finished by adding some sparkle with my Wink of Stella and white dots on her dress with my Sakura white gel roll pen.
