Love You SLOW Much - Whimsy Release and Hop

We are thrilled to announce that Monika Martinson has joined our talented group of stamp illustrators! Monika draws the most beautiful floral images and we are releasing 3 gorgeous rubber stamp sets illustrated by Monika for Whimsy Stamps this month.  Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps family, Monika!

Today's creation was made with the adorable new Wee Stamp called Love you Slow Much.  I've also used the new and adorable papers called Easter Eggstravaganza.  The sentiment is from Party Mini Letter Seals and the die is Slider 2 Die.  I also used some of the fabulous lace tape - my favorite!!

From today until 26 March, the Whimsy DT and our March Special Guest Designer, Louise Hodge, will be showcasing these new products with a daily mini blog hop. At the end of release week, we will draw 3 winners from the comments left on our designers' daily mini blog hop posts and each of these 3 winners will win 2 new release stamps! Happy Valentine's Day with Whimsy!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  I know you are all are done creating for Valentine's Day and on to spring cards but I wanted to created one more pink and red card to share.  It's not a Valentine's Day card per say, but the colors are reminiscent.  I love this cute little baby image from Wee Stamps called Birthday Baby Girl.

I colored her in my Copics and then paired her with some adorable paper from Echo Park.  The lace tape you see is from Whimsy along with the adorable corner die cuts.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from 2 Cute Ink set called Happy Birthday to You.

Today, I used one of the adorable rubber stamps from 2 Cute Ink called Love and Hugs.  The balloons, stars and hearts die on the side is also new from Whimsy and is called Swirly Balloon Border Die.  I also used a bit of the fabulous lace tape from Whimsy that you can just barely see under the button on the side.

At the end of release week (Wednesday 30 January) a 'Release Round-Up' will be posted on the Whimsy blog together with a complete list of winners from the daily mini blog hops.

Hello Friend with Elisabeth Bell

Hi ya everyone!  Today I want to share this adorable card I made using the ever-so-sweet Elisabeth Bell image Li'l Montana.  I colored her with my Copics and used an Echo Park paper from the Sweet Day pad.  The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs, A Touch of Elegant Furniture.  My favorite newly discovered item from Whimsy is the lace you see in the background.  I love lace but often hate pulling out my glue gun to adhere it to my creation.  Did you know Whimsy carries a number of awesome lace tapes?  LOVE them and the one I used on this card is called Lace Tape White No. 8.  I hope you enjoyed today's creation and join us for the new release next week!
