We are thrilled to announce that Monika Martinson has joined our talented group of stamp illustrators! Monika draws the most beautiful floral images and we are releasing 3 gorgeous rubber stamp sets illustrated by Monika for Whimsy Stamps this month.  Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps family, Monika!

Today's creation was made with the adorable new Wee Stamp called Love you Slow Much.  I've also used the new and adorable papers called Easter Eggstravaganza.  The sentiment is from Party Mini Letter Seals and the die is Slider 2 Die.  I also used some of the fabulous lace tape - my favorite!!

From today until 26 March, the Whimsy DT and our March Special Guest Designer, Louise Hodge, will be showcasing these new products with a daily mini blog hop. At the end of release week, we will draw 3 winners from the comments left on our designers' daily mini blog hop posts and each of these 3 winners will win 2 new release stamps! Metal Challenge at Whimsy

Hi ya everyone!  New challenge on the Whimsy Stamps Challenge blog today.  It's a fun one and will get you to use those stashed metal embellishments.  The challenge is to use metal and I did so with my button that's a bit hidden under the butterfly and also on the little brad on the seed packet.  I used a number of fun embellishments on this creation.  The stamp is from the new release at Whimsy called Vintage Seed Packets 2 which I stamped in Versamagic Ink.  The seed packet die is also new from Whimsy.  I used a piece of chipboard from Whimsy too, called Butterfly Swirls which I painted with acrylics.  Last, but not least, the paper is from the new paper from Whimsy called New Beginnings.  The lacey die is from Cheery Lynn Designs and the leave pattern is as well.

From today until 26 February, the Whimsy DT and our February Special Guest Designer, Louise Roache, will be showcasing these new products with a daily mini blog hop. Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw by leaving a comment on every blog listed for that day.

My card today used a number of items from the new release!  The image is an Elizabeth Bell image called Spring Pick.  The sentiment is Lovely Spring Sliders 2.  The paper is from the new release too and is called Easter Eggstravaganza.  I used the Slider 2 Die and the Corners Die Set.

Some Bunny Loves You - Tiddly Inks Challenge

 

Hi ya everyone!  It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge at Tiddly Inks!  This week we are having a Critters Challenge.  You know it's spring, and that's when all those sweet cuddly animals, not so sweet and cuddly spiders and insects start to emerge and let us know the weather is getting warmer and they days longer.  We are celebrating at Tiddly Inks!

I used the adorable Wryn - Some Bunny Loves You image and sentiment.  I paired them with some adorable paper soon to be released at Whimsy stamps.  The die in the background is also from Whimsy.  The adorable arrow came in my Cocoa Daisy monthly kit.  All of my flowers are from Wild Orchard or I am Roses.  Of course Wryn is colored in Copics.

Whimsy Reveiew Day!

Whimsy Stamps December Release Day 6!

Hello and welcome to Day 6 of Whimsy Stamps December Rubber & Die Release Showcase!

On Monday (17 December) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs, Shape EZ templates and *new* Whimsy Prints pre-coloured toppers. From then until 23 December the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

I used the adorable Playful Kitten images by Wee Stamps that are being released this week along with the FABULOUS new paper called Whimsy Romance and it's PERFECT for Valentine's Day!!! I LOVE IT! I used a Splitcoaststampers tutorial to make the Gable Box containers.

Sway Mae - oh so sweet!

Hi ya everyone!
Another cutey patootie release today at Some Odd Girl, Sway Mae.  Again, I used some ADORABLE paper that will be released from Whimsy next week and it is AMAZING!!!  The colors screamed to me when I pulled out this sweet Mae to color.  The purples and greens just really popped together.  The sentiment is from Birthday Mae.
