Hi ya everyone!
I was finally able to get my blog back from my sweet Anna to post a card of my very own. Though I have to brag on how awesome she is doing at card making! She did each component of every card and is tying bows better then me - Look at that big bow on the card were she colored!!! She's amazing and I love her so much.
Now, this week at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog we want you to make a card filled with romance. Remember you must use a Tiddly Image - and if you don't have one - there are plenty RIGHT HERE! I mean some of the cutest freebies around. Let's not forget all the wonderful new images
and all the wonderful favorites too.
On to my card. I chose two of my favorite images from Tiddly Inks: Charles's Tulips and Katrina. These two are so fun to color and I did so with my Copics.
On a side note - these two are so popular that one of our wonderful participants Femke chose the exact same images. She posted her card to the challenge today for the Kiss Me challenge and I couldn't believe my eyes!!
Next, I cut Charles out with my circle nestable - masked him and inked the circle with my Tim Holtz Mahogany color. I then took a squirt bottle and did one big spritz and the ink fanned just a bit - Love this effect. I then took the masking off, cut out Katrina and popped her right off the page. I took some of my new Basic Grey paper for the background. I used some mahogany colored twine and wrapped around the card several times and finally finished with a bow.
I computer generated my sentiment and cut it with my oval nestables. I also inked the outside and again spritzed with water. I hope you will join us at Tiddly Inks for the ever so romantic challenge. You could create your Valentine for the one you love!
