24 Days of Christmas Event - Day 12

Hi ya everyone!  I'm so excited to celebrate the 24 days of Christmas with the Whimsy team and YOU.  We are on day 12 and if you've missed the other days and you need to know the details, just check out THIS POST.  There is a GRAND PRIZE and spot prizes, so make sure to join the fun!

Today, I'm using the adorable Lissy's Little Light from Elisabeth Bell.  I love this image, so much in fact, I made two tags to share.  Both use the same image but really have different looks once on a tag.  First up is Merry & Bright.
I used a number of red and green Copics for her outfit.  I used my Silhouette to cut the tag this time and paired with Echo Park papers.  The sparkly Thicker letters don't stand out that well but added such a pretty touch I couldn't help it!
For the second, Peace on Earth, I wanted to subdue my colors a bit and went for more of a shabby chic look.  The design is very similar but you can see with one image how you can get two very different projects.

I think you might have my letter figured out by now, but just in case:

We will also be running some fun SPOT PRIZES throughout
the entire event.  The prizes could be hidden here on the Whimsy blog
or on our design team member's blogs, so be sure to
leave a comment my blog post HERE and on the Whimsy blog  to be in with a chance to win!
Be sure to check back here tomorrow for more Christmas Inspiration and to collect your next letter!

Deck The Halls

Hi ya everyone!  I decided to create a beautiful little scene using two Make It Crafty images, Bethany Winter Jacket Digi and Front Door Wreath Digi.  I changed my card size to a 5x7 to accommodate the images into a proportional scene.  Make It Crafty provides png images that allow you to layer them simply.  If you don't know how to combine images, check out my tutorials page and click on the Working with Digital Images at the bottom for computer tutorials.  I colored the scene in my Copics of course and added a layer of Stardust Stickles around the windows edges for a frosty appearance.

Snow Place Like Home

Hi ya everyone!  I decided to put together a little scene with a few images from Make It Crafty.  I've so loved merging my digital images to create fun cards with more to look at then one image.  Today, I used the adorable Floppy and Gift Way.  I colored everything in Copics and went over the snow with a bit of Stardust Stickles.  I also wrote North Pole on the sign with my Copic multiliner.  This is a 5x5 card and the paper is from Echo Park Winter Wonderland.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot.
