Baby Blues - Crafty Creations Challenge

Hi ya everyone!!
This week at Crafty Creations we are challenging you to create a baby card using baby blue!  After seeing this adorable Mo Manning stamp in Card Maker magazine I just have to have it - it's called Sumpin's Wrong and can be found HERE.  I was so excited for this challenge because I would get to use it!!! I love it.  I colored the image with my Copics and used the same for the dots along the outside.
I cut the image out with my new set of nestables and also used some paper from the ever so sweet Whimsical Stack from DCWV.  I used the peach for a background to my image and placed it on some sweet baby blue paper.  I used my MS heart punch and did a small row and the corner.  I had a little glitch because of the width of my blue background piece but simply covered it with some white crinkle ribbon and then added this bow with button.
To finish, I used my Congrats! clear stamp on the bottom and added these silvery pearls that matched the overall hues of the papers.  I'm also entering this into the Mo Manning Challenge blog!!! This week is "OH BABY" week - how perfect is that!!! I always love when I can enter their challenges.  You must check out the design team creations they are super fabulous!!

Love You Bunches - Crafty Creations Challenge

Hi ya everyone!  I'm so excited to share this card with you today!  I worked really hard and it took a bit of time - but I was thrilled with the results.  This week at Crafty Creations the challenge is to use three words on your card - "love you bunches" is what I chose.  This is a larger card 6x6 so I could add all the elements.  I found this ever so adorable stamp at Mo Manning's store (Digital Pencil Too) - and it's called Bunches.  I colored her with my Copics and added a few white highlights here and there.
Next, I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday (who's sponsored by Tickled Pink) for the layout.  I cut all my papers from a Basic Grey stack and inked the edge of everything in my Walnut Stain Tim Holtz ink.  Then I sowed each one to a background piece.  I then stacked the sheets according to the sketch.  I also computer generated my sentiment.
Lastly, I added some green lace and some adorable little pearls.  Tied some pink string that I also inked with Walnut Stain through some matching green buttons (This will allow me to enter the Mo Manning Challenge - Buttons, bows and lace) and added some Stardust Stickles to a few individual spots.

Hi! - Help For Katie and Mo Manning Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
Well, I got a bunch of projects done this weekend and am so happy to share this one with you!  I purchased all the wonderful digi's for the Help for Kaite cause - one because I love this community and it's outreach programs and two because so many of my favorite digi stamp designers donated images - such as Tiddly Inks and Mo Manning.  Currently on Jak Heath's site you can enter a card for a number of very cool prizes too!  Check it out and join the challenge.  I decided to use this cute Mo Manning stamp called Sprout and it can be found when you purchase the Help for Kaite set.
I also wanted to enter the Mo Manning color challenge this week of red, yellow and orange!  Love these colors and had so much coloring this sweet stamp.  I used my Copics to color her.
I cut her out with my nestables first then inked using my Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade ink pad.
I used a number of Cosmo Cricket papers and the polka dot is from my scraps but I believe it's part of the Olivia stack from Basic Grey.  I added a bit of orange ribbon and stamped the Hi! sentiment!  Please join the fight for Katie by purchasing this awesome digi set at Jak Heath's blog and join in the fun at Mo's while your at it!

Sugar and Spice - Crafty Creations Challenge #82

Hey Everyone,
This week at Crafty Creations Challenge blog we had did a 3-2-1.  I love this challenge so be sure to participate if you can - just click here.  Here are the simple rules:  Use 3 different papers, two different ribbons and add one charm!  The rest is up to you!  Our sponsor this week is Mo's Digital Pencil!  I don't know about you, but I just love her stamps!!  I used one of my favorites called Patience.  She also has one called Tolerance and it's a little boy!  I love this stamp because it so reminds me of both my daughters - they love kitties and our poor kitty, Mercury, takes her fair share of pick me ups - however, she is less then patient!  LOL!
I colored this image with my Copics (a great site for tutorials is Color Me Copic).  Usually, I color and then pick out my papers so once I colored her, I set her aside and picked out these cute papers from my Cricut stack, Doodlecharms.  Remember, we had to use three papers - so I picked a great purple that matched the little girls shirt, a flowered patterned that matched the one charm I wanted to use, and some stripes that matched everything!

I layered the papers together on my card.  Next, I added a bit of white ribbon down the were two of my papers came together.  My second ribbon, I added to the charm for a collar around the kitty's neck.  Finally, I adhered the image onto my card. and added a few nail heads and a sticker sentiment to finish up my 3,2,1 card!  Don't forget to stop by Crafty Creations and join in on the fun - you could win a gift certificate to Mo's Digital Pencil!!
Enjoy!
