The Little Piggy Says...7 Kids and Live

Hi ya everyone!  This card is a result of our fun Facebook Live at 7 Kids Customer's Create group that I host every Saturday.  We have so much fun creating a card together!  This week we used the super cute Hello Bluebird stamp set called Pig Day!

I watercolored the little pig with Zig clean brush watercolor pens.  I inked the background with my wonderful Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Brushes and Catherine Pooler inks in Grass Skirt, It's a Boy, Sugared Lavender and Fiesta Blue.  The background was cut with a Whimsy Stamps die and popped up with a shaker card in mind.

Won't you join us for a Live!?  We have Live videos with Angela on Tuesdays, Kelly on Wednesdays, Erin on Thursdays and  myself on Saturdays!  The wonderful Copic user Amy Young is Live with Sweet November Releases and vault releases too!  Look for these announcements and often a sale or special will follow during/after a Live.

Fairies and Unicorns - New Release from Whimsy Stamps!

Hi ya everyone!  I am a day late and a dollar short this week.  Easter being on April 1st just confused me!!!  How could I forget the new Whimsy release!?  I LOVE this new release.  So many adorable images perfect for spring, including bunnies, fairies and some beautiful delicate stencils that I really adore.  Today, I will share this new set called Fairy and Unicorn Greetings.  A fantastic red rubber set with the two images above and a number of sentiments.

I colored the image in Copics and fussy cut them out. I used the Dangle Star stencil from Whimsy with Mango Madness VersaMagic ink which I then embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then, I used a number of Fireworks! Sprays (Bahama Blue, Sky Blue and Rose Bud) from Imagine on Bristol Smooth Card.  I decided to make a fun shaker card with this set too!  Make sure to check out all the new images from Whimsy available in the shop now!

Whimsy Stamps Release Day 2 - Star Galaxy

Hey everyone!  I have been MIA but I promise you I have a whole month of fun and gorgeous creations to share with you.  I've been working hard on the new release from Whimsy Stamps and you won't be disappointed.  From stencils to stamps to new inks you are going to love what's in store!  DoveArt stamps are now being carried at Whimsy's and they are so beautiful.

Today, I have a fun card I made using the new stencil, Star Galaxy.  For this card I used some fun VersaMagic inks to create the background.  Then added Gold Glitz Delicata to the stencil to get these fun gold stars.

I decided to turn this into a shaker card using a die that Whimsy has recently discontinued.  Denise promises however, a new heart die will be in stock soon.  I stamped the sentiment with the fun stamp set called Happy Headlines.  Isn't this stencil GREAT!  I love a starry background and this stencil makes it easy!

Don't forget to head over and see the whole new release at Whimsy Stamps Blog!

Party Like There's No Tomorrow - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!  Shake Shake Shake...Shake Shake Shake....Shake yer shaker card.  Ok, I know, I'm in a mood.  I love making shaker cards when they don't frustrate me because I glued something on wonky.  I used the ADORABLE dinos from SugarPea Designs called Prehistoric Pals.  This set is just so very cute.  Truly, the sentiments and the images are just really cute.  Here, I'll just show you.

See what I mean?  I colored these cuties in my Copics...are you surprised?  You can check out the colors below.

The background was made using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a spritz of water.  Then I colored the cute volcano and glued it to the background.  I cute a frame but wanted the background to stick out a bit for more color.  I added all kinds of little sequence and beads for the shaker part.

I hope you like today's card.  You should really check out SugarPea Designs. They have the cutest little stamps and they are paired perfectly with cute sentiments.

COPICS:  Just a note...the green combo here is to die for!  G02, G94, G99

A Sweet Life - SugarPea Designs

Hi ya everyone!
Today I'm sharing a little card I made using the sweetest stamp set from SugarPea Designs called Pucker Up!  There are so many cute stamps that come with this clear polymer stamp set that you can go the lemonade route or the tea route.

I used stamped the little lemons with embossing ink and added white embossing powder on top.  After that I used my heat gun to set the embossing powder.  After cooling the embossing I used my Tim Holtz ink Mustard seed and worked it all over the lemons.  I colored the little pitcher with my Copics:
Lemonade:  Y11, Y15, Y19
Glass Pitcher:  B000, B01
Ice:  B21, B01
Heart:  R22, R24
Hands: C1, C3

I used a number of little beads and nail art pieces for the shaker part of this card.

If you haven't checked out the adorable stamps at SugarPea Designs you must!!!  So much cuteness and they have dies and papers too.  One of my new favorite companies.

Last, I wanted to add this adorable card my daughter, Auden, made.  She loves messing around with markers and has used the ShinHan touch to color her witch and kitty.  The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps and called Boo to You.

She'd love to hear your thoughts on her adorable card!

Shake It Up Baby - Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi ya everyone!!!
This week at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog we are asking you to make a shaker card that has hearts somewhere on the card.  Meredith has an awesome tutorial on the blog too if you've never made one!  I decided to make mine a bit different and cut out the little cupcake tops to fill with glitter.  First, I printed my image twice - once on white paper (to color) and once on transparency to put behind once I cut out the cupcake tops.  I did this with a straight edge after I colored my Tiddly Ink stamp - Cherry Bugg - in Copics.
Next, I took some Basic Grey paper and cut it out with my Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.  I adhered my transparency to the back of Bugg and then fussy cut her out.  I then glued her to the pink scalloped circle and then carefully re-cut the cupcake tops.
Next I lined the back with square foam and filled with glitter.  Lastly, I adhered this to the bottom Basic Grey paper, added a bit of white crinkle ribbon and stamped Happy Birthday.
Since this challenge is to make a shaker and to add hearts, I took a few rub-ons and added a few red and pink hearts around the image!  Head over to Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and join this week's challenge!  Remember to use a Tiddly image to qualify for prizes - you'll find lots of freebies in the Tiddly Ink shop!
There are some adorable cute images that Christy just posted in the Tiddly Inks shop too - here's a peek!
