Tiddly Tuesday and a New Challenge!

Hi ya everyone!
Today is Tuesday and that means new challenge at Tiddly Inks.  The challenge is use your favorite Tiddly Ink image!!! Now, that's an easy challenge...unless you can't pick one favorite :D  It was hard for me too.  In the end I chose this adorable couple because it really does remind me of hubs and I.  The image is called You and Me.
I added a number of fun embellishments and lace.  The lace is from Ribbon Carousel.  And the gorgeous brown flower was from my sweet friend Pam at The Bug Bytes.  Thanks Pam!

Head over to Tiddly Inks and pick out your favorite image then join us for our fun challenge!

Basic and Advanced Class Registration OPEN!

Hi ya everyone!
At Created from Color we have open registration for both our Basic and Advanced Class.  The basic class offers all of the basic information to get you started with your Copic markers.  We won't just get you started but take you to a new level in your coloring.  Our techniques are those taught in Copic Certification courses.  Though, you will not receive a certificate from Copic, you will understand how your markers work from the comfort of your own home.  The Advanced class goes into more elaborate information surrounding your Copics for those that have been using Copics and understand their basics.

I wanted to share the clear difference in a beginner that took our class.  Brenda at Infinite Possibilities was a fabulous student, completing homework and practicing.  This shows in her work at the beginning and at the end!
As you can see her coloring was pretty in the beginning.  However, in the end she added much more contrast, new how to blend her markers and add details to make the image come alive!

Kristy of Some Odd Girl and I are the instructors.  We offer one one one assistance, a fabulous forum, and communication through Facebook and email.  Also for both classes, we have downloadable content and the ability to print all the written information for your use once the class is over!

Please head over to the registration page for Basic OR Advanced and check out all the wonderful details!  We'd love to have you in our class.

Hello Sunshine!

Hi ya everyone!
Today, I created a sweet little shaped card using this adorable stamp I got from MarkerPop.  The clear stamp is from Stampavie called Little Toby Watering the Roses, and the twine is also from MarkerPop.  I colored her in my Copics of course and used my Spellbinders dies to create this fun shaped card!
The sentiment is from My Craft Spot.  I love making shaped cards and you can learn more on my YouTube page about how to create a nice shaped card here and here!
Also, we have a fun challenge happening at MarkerPop right now - Sepia or Black and White - won't you join us?

Shaped Card fun and Tiddly Inks!

Hi ya everyone!
Today I'm sharing at The Bug Bytes a simple shaped card I made with the adorable new stamps from Tiddly Inks.  The set is called Hang in There and features a little girl hanging upside down in a tree.  However, I used some of the accents to create this card with my Cuttlebug and a few Spellbinders Dies.  I created a simple video for you too I hope you enjoy!

In addition Tiddly Inks is having a GORGEOUS new release today called Fantasy Friends!  Please scroll down to my next post to see those!  Here's a sneaky of one creation I made!

Tiddly Inks Fantasy Friends Release!!!

Hi ya everyone!
I'm so excited for today as Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks has created a GORGEOUS line of new digital images called Fantasy Friends.  Each is gorgeous and unique.  I have two cards to share with you from the new release!  The first is using Magda!
I think she's beautiful and wanted to give her a nice soft place to reside.  I used a paper from Wild Rose Studio and some lace from Ribbon Carousel.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot.
My next creation also uses one of the adorable new images!
Her hair was so much fun to color!  I also love that she's not a typical gal and where's boots with her fancy dress...that's my kind of girl!
Head over to the Tiddly Inks blog to see what everyone created...then go pick up a few for yourself.  There are dragons and unicorns too!!!

School's coming soon - Some Odd Girl Release

Hi ya everyone!
There is an adorable new release at Some Odd Girl so you can get a head start on things for school.  I made this card using Teacher's Pet Tia for my daughters new teacher.  I think a Hello sentiment is perfect for a new teacher card too!
I'm not entirely sure why I colored her in black and white with a pop of color in the apple other then I thought it might be fun.  I like doing black and white occasionally and it helps me when I'm in a time crunch as I don't have to match all my Copics to my papers.  The paper is Graphic 45 ABC Primer.

Please stop by Some Odd Girl and see all of our fabulous creations from the design team all week so you can see the adorable new release!

A treat bag box?

Hi everyone! I want to share a little bag project I made with the ADORABLE clear stamp from Wild Rose Studio called Tilly with Gift. Tilly is such a cutie and so fun to color. I stamped him in Memento Black Ink on X-Press It Blending Paper.
If you've never purchased a Wild Rose Studio clear stamp before, I must tell you the quality of these is impeccable. Each I've used has stamped so clean and clear. They are among my top favorite stamp companies! They have a number of cute stamps but also a line of paper I love.
The design paper I used for the bag is from My Mind's Eye. I used a tutorial from Splitcoaststampers for the bag and you can find it here.  I used a number of Copics to color Tilly in matching colors to my design paper. I always chose my paper and then match my Copics using my color chart. I would highly suggest doing this. Initially, I did not and once I did I noticed a huge difference in how my creations appeared. Matching the Copics (or any marker/pencil) really goes a long way.
I hope you enjoyed today's treat bag and I hope I've inspired you to create your own using an adorable stamp from MarkerPop!
Don't forget to join us for our Sepia/Black and White Challenge this week! Creating in this color scheme really makes a special project. Can't wait to see what you create.

A little about us...

Hi ya everyone!
After celebrating the fourth yesterday, I decided to do something a bit different.  I never really talk too much about my wonderful family.  Today however, I'm sharing with you a small part of my life.  These are the three people that surround me on a daily basis and I could not be more happy with my life.
We had a great day celebrating with family, ate YUMMY food, and just enjoyed the sunshine.  My two girls enjoyed all the fun kids in the neighborhood and hubby and I just relaxed.
My oldest, Anna, thoroughly enjoyed her bike!
While her sister enjoyed some fruit punch (very novel for her :D).  In all we had such a wonderful day and I'm thankful for the little things that I get to experience everyday with these three very special people.  I hope you enjoyed your day too!!
