Whoooo forgot to post this fun creation???

Hi ya everyone!
And yes, that would be me, WHOOO forgot to post this tag using the adorable new Owl from Some Odd Girl called Owl-ween.  I think he's super cute all dressed up as a masked avenger for Halloween.  I made the little cape part of his wings, but you could color it as a cape to match his mask!  The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Black Onyx on Kraft.  The tag was cut using the Tim Holtz die, Tag and Bookplates.  I also made this fun sparkly paper and I have a tutorial coming up on Monday at Created from Color on how to create this fun sparkly paper using your Copics!  The fibers on the top where a mix from ribbons I've had stashed for a long time.  The crinkle ribbon is from Prairie Bird Boutique.

Today is my turn to share at MarkerPop!  I created this adorable card using one of the new Wild Rose Studio clear stamps!  Aren't these Christmas Teddies just the cutest?
I used the Copics above and paper: All is Bright from My Mind's Eye.  I typically don't finish the insides of my cards but lately I've been making more of an effort.  Check out this stamp repeated on the inside!!! SO CUTE!

Happy Little Thoughts with SPARKLE

Hi ya everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a little something different.  I am falling in love with the Crafter's Workshop stencils.  The are so versatile for scrapbooking of course, but wow, I loved using the Layered Butterflies by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer on my card.  I used a fun technique using my Copics and Spica's too.  Did you know that Kristy and I are having a Spica giveaway on our blog this month?  Yup you could win a set of 12!
I wish you could see the sparkle better on this card, but I used my Spica with the Copic airbrush system.  I created a short simple tutorial for you right HERE.
We also still have a few spots left in our Basic Created from Color Copic class if you are interested!  Have a beautiful day!

In addition you must head over to Kristy's site today.  I'm sharing how I created this little refrigerator magnet box with you in her 31 days celebration.  You should stop by, lots of tutorials, how to's and GIVEAWAYs!

Peek-A-Boo!

Hi ya everyone!
Fall is one of my favorite times of year.  Portland can be rough for those that aren't used to the rainy days, but honestly, I love them.  It means yummy hot food like soup and chile, warm cozy blankets, and lazy days snuggling with family!  Really, how could you not LOVE that?
This also means Halloween at Tiddly Inks!  I love Christy's adorable images, but then she goes and creates sweet Halloween images like monsters and witches and I get downright GIDDY!  The next challenge starts today and it's all about Halloween!  Please head over to the Tiddly Inks blog and check out the two new images and then join us on the challenge blog.
For today's card, I used the edited Peek-A-Boo image.  Christy added and subtracted a bit from this image so it's new and fresh and ready for your Halloween creations.  She's also added the adorable Princess Wryn since so many asked for her.  Both would be perfect for any Halloween creation!

Make a Wish and Believe

Hi ya everyone!
Monday already?  Yikes, the weekend goes so much faster than the week...why is that?  My husband and I got a lot of cleaning and organizing done this weekend so that feels really good.  I always love starting my week with a clean organized house.  That includes my craft area; moved some things around and put some things away and now I love my whole home all over again!
We are starting off this Monday with a little WASHI tape at MarkerPop.  I love my Washi!  I have to admit though, I do something a bit different when I use Washi, I always put it on some white paper first.  Is that weird?  I like it to be really bright and noticable, so adding white paper underneath always accomplishes that for me.  I also like to trim it, like I did above, into pennants. Having the white paper underneath makes that a lot simpler.
I used the adorable Bright Bean from the Greeting Farm and decided to enter their fun color challenge too.

Everything here is from MarkerPop from the papers to the embellishments!  The paper is from two different stacks: Simple Stories - Country Botique and My Mind's Eye!  The Washi is square grid yellow.  I don't know if you can tell but her bathing suit is also paper pieced.  I used my Copics for the coloring of course and finished off with a touch of stitching!

Starting to look a lot like Christmas???

Are you getting ready for Christmas yet?  I know I am NOT!  I'm sort of a last minute person when it comes to holidays.  I still need to get all my Halloween decorations up and I love fall and Halloween.  Sometimes, those are the things we put off until last though.  We are in the middle of painting our fireplace and walls, so putting up decorations would just get in the way.

I have however, started making a few Christmas cards.  This one uses the adorable Lawn Fawn set called Critters in the Forest.  You can check out all the product details on the MarkerPop blog today!  Have a great day!

Sweetest Wishes - New Odd Sketch Challenge

Hi ya everyone!
New challenge today at Some Odd Girl!  I love the new sketch - usually I'm someone that follows the sketch closely but this time I decided to dice it up a bit and added a few elements that might not seem completely the same!  Here's the sketch for you to see:
Pretty cute!  I used the adorable HollyDay Gwen, one of my favorite clear Oddies!  She's a GREAT image for Christmas but I think she looks pretty cute as a Halloween sweetie.  She even comes with the sentiment I used "sweetest wishes".  I hope you'll join us for the challenge this month - always good prizes to win!
