No Lion - You're the Best!

Hi ya everyone!  7 Kids has a fun little card kit for sale right now that I just love.  It comes with a wonderful 6x6 pad of paper from Carta Bella, a red novo marker, a diamond stencil, a clown stamp set, the black twine you see and those adorable yellow sequence...oh and little chipboard.  All kinds of goodies for you to experiment with.  I made this card with that kit using a different set of stamps from C.C. Designs.  I colored the little lion and master in copics.

I paired them with some adorable paper and added the twine and sequence.  So easy and so much fun.  I love this fun circus card kit.

A Holly Jolly Smile

Hi ya everyone!  Look how cute this image is!!!!  I just love it.  It's a C.C. Designs image called Roberto's Rascals Stamp - Snowman.  I love his little jelly belly and I can just here his little boy laugh.  I had so much fun coloring him in Copics and creating a wintery background for him.

I added some snowflakes with platinum embossing powder and a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps called Holiday Mini Sentiments.  The paper I used is called Bella Blvd. Santa Stops Here.

I also added some adorable mate finish bling.  This is from Whimsy and is called Christmas cheer and I LOVE them.  The mate finish is so pretty.

Happy Holidays in the City

After a much needed rest and vacation, I'm back to creating cards with adorable images.  This one is no exception.  This is a C.C. Designs digital image called Roberto's Rascals 3 Reindeers.  I love these cute images and you get three sweeties!!!

I colored them in my Copics and created a city background with my Copics too.  Last, I put on my Shabby Frantage White enamel for snow and layered it on some DoodleBug design paper.  To see more adorable C.C. Designs head to the shop and have fun!

Oh Holy Night

Hi ya everyone!  I am so loving watercoloring these days with my Twinkling H2O watercolors.  The color is vibrant and they have this great shimmer.  I created this card using those for the trees and the background.

You can get an idea of the shimmer in the above image.  I used the C.C. Designs Make A Card #11 die set for the trees and snowy hills.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Abstract Christmas.  Head over to YouTube and check out the video I created for this card.  I have links to each product I used there too!

Spellbinder's Basket with Love

Hi ya everyone!
I shared this adorable little basket I made over on the MarkerPop Blog yesterday and wanted to share it on my blog as well!  This little cutie is from CC Designs and is called Laying Nora.  I love her little wings and she was perfect for this little Spellbinders basket I made using the adorable paper from My Mind's Eye - Playdate.  On the MarkerPop blog I share a link on how to make a basket similar to this using a simple strip of paper!

Join Me for a Cuppa

Hi ya everyone!
We have a new inspiration post today at MarkerPop.  One of the things I love so much about my Copic markers is that you can color your own embellishments.  It's difficult to see in this picture but the bling on the side from Say it in Crystals Prima Marketing is colored with RV34 to match my image.  The image is from CC Designs and is called Kiki La Rue Latte.  The banners were cut using the Spellbinders Lacy Pennants and Pennants dies.  I stamped them in Pink Petunia VersaMagic ink using the My Favorite Things Stamp set Always Time for Tea.  The sentiment is from the Always Time for Tea stamp set as well.  Join us at MarkerPop where DT coordinator Samantha shares a video on how to color your embellishments.  Also, at Created from Color I have a tutorial on coloring your own ribbon.  This card can be purchased from my Etsy shop.
