Hello - Whimsy Stamps and Wee Ruby

Hi ya everyone!
I'm sharing an adorable card I made using a Wee Rubber stamp, Ruby, from Whimsy Stamps!  I love purchasing from Whimsy Stamps.  Items arrive quickly and they are high quality.

I always start by stamping my image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on X-Press It paper.  I colored Ruby in my Copics as follows:
Skin:  E000, E00, E04, E11
Pants:  BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78
Shirt/Vest:  R43, R46, E09 and YR61, YR65, YR68
Flowers:  R43, R46, E09, YR61, YR65, YR68, YR20, YR21, YR24, YR27, YG91, YG93, YG95
Hair:  E41, E42, E44, E47, E49
Background:  BG0000, BG000

After my image is colored, I mount the image on red card stock and trim the edges to a 1/4" width.  I cut a card base in white Neenah card stock to 5x10 and fold at the 5" mark on the 10" side forming a 5x5 card.  I cut another piece of red card stock at 4 1/2" and added an adorable piece of paper from Echo Park I Love Family 6x6 pad on top.  This sheet was cut to 4 1/4" and then mounted on the red card stock.

I used the Whimsy Stamp dies called Double Scallop Border and the Corner die (both are retired).  I adhered the Double Scallop Border die to a piece of Echo Park I Love Family paper and placed this on top of my base papers and then mounted all of it to the card base.  I finished my card by adding the sentiment, heart stickers, sheer ribbon and opal paper pen.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and make sure to head over to the wonderful Whimsy Store to find your own images today.  They also have a beautiful blog where you can find inspiration from all!  Don't forget they also have a DT call happening now!!!

Tiddly Inks Color Challenge for August - Autumn Glow

Hi ya everyone!
Tiddly Inks has a fun challenge open currently using a beautiful color theme, Autumn Glow.  I love the colors and couldn't wait to try the palette on this amazing wedding image from Tiddly Inks called, Garden Wedding.

I colored the image in my Copics.  Mostly using beautiful oranges, pinks and reds.  I used the Simple Stories paper Vintage Bliss as well as vellum.  I layered the vellum over the background paper to soften the appearance of the card.  The ribbon and flowers were a small touch to enhance the image.
Make sure to head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and join the fun challenge.  You have to use a Tiddly Inks image but you could win a number of prizes.

A Wee Little Card

Hi ya blogging world.  I missed coloring my Wee Rubber Stamps.  I decided to pull out this cutie today, Sweet Sparkle.  She was colored in Copics and mounted on Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 paper.  I used my Viva Opal Paper Pen, Glossy Accents and Stardust Stickles to enhance the image with sparkle and shine.
Here you can see the glossy accents on the lantern.  I love that shine and it makes the glass look real!
The flowers were from I Am Roses and adhered with hot glue.

Have a great day!

Tiddly Inks Blog Hop!!!!

Hello blogging world!!! I can honestly say that I have missed blogging so much.  I'm ecstatic to finally be back.  My little guy started walking and forget it, my crafty days were put on hold.  I moved to a new state, started a new job, had a new baby, then moved to a new house all within a year!!!  Needless to say, things were CRAZY.  Now, I'm settled and ready to rock.

You know my first creation had to be with my favorite digi stamp company Tiddly Inks!  They are having a fun blog hop so make sure to check out all the details HERE.

I used this adorable Birthday puppy and kitty combo which you can find in the Tiddly Inks shop, right HERE.

Of course I colored this sweet image in my Copic markers.  I used a bit of My Minds Eye paper from my old stash and added a few cute embellishments and twine to finish this card off.

I'm so happy to be back and don't forget to check out all the cute Tiddly Ink Stamps!  Once you are done you must join the blog hop for your chance to win some PRIZES!!!
