Hi ya everyone!

No just kidding - really I love it and I can't wait to try it in my neighborhood.  Here is a simple video where I explain the sizes and cartridges used for this fun Boo gift!
Thanks for stopping by today!  If something was unclear please feel free to leave a question and I'll get back to you!  I also love to hear from you too - so any love is appreciated!  Have a fabulous day and for more fun projects visit Creative Critterz Imaginations!

Skull-tastic treat container!

Hi ya everyone!  It's my turn to share at Creative Critterz Imaginations!  Today I'm sharing this cute little skull treat holder.  All the cardstock was colored on the Imagine.  I have to say that it's so nice to think that no matter what I'm creating I can always count on my Imagine to give me exactly what I need.  I literally ran out of orange paper and really wanted it for the bow on this sweety!  So I just turned to my Imagine!
I hope you enjoyed this simple tutorial and a special thanks to Kimberly at My Craft Spot for sharing her technique on making a shaped candy holder.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments section.  For more fun projects please visit Creative Critterz Imaginations.

Accordion Fold Tag - Creative Critterz Imaginations

Hi ya everyone - today is my turn to share at the Creative Critterz Imaginations blog and I'm sharing with you a simple tag I created using my Imagine and the accordion fold technique I learned from Bobby at The Cricut Couple.  Sheila at She's A Sassy Lady is also showcasing this technique and hosting a small challenge - so I couldn't resist!  This is such a fun addition to any project and using the Imagine with it was TRULY fun!  The fold is eye catching and very simple.  In the following videos I show you start to finish how I made this tag using Cricut Craft Room!  I have to be honest - it seems that since I've updated my Imagine and Cricut Craft Room - things seem to be running smoothly and I LOVE Craft Room!!!
Please watch part 2 for the final tag design!
I hope enjoyed today's simple tutorial.

Monster Mash Birthday Bash

Hi ya everyone!
Happy Birthday Imagine!!!  Today is my day to share at the Creative Critterz Imaginations blog.  In the video below I show you how I made this fun little set using the Cricut Imagine and my Gypsy.  I started with Cricut Craft Room but had to switch to my Gypsy as I couldn't get it to cut for me.  Also, at the end of the video I give measurements for each cut using the Gypsy and Imagine!
I decided that a birthday fit for the Imagine had to include the sentiment Monster Mash!  Please celebrate with us all week long as we share projects that show our love of the Imagine!  Don't forget to leave comments for prizes too!

Kitchen Trivet Project

Hi ya everyone!  Today I'm sharing a kitchen project.  Our kitchen needed a bit of spicing up and I love these little wooden trivets that I purchased from my local craft store.  The Imagine has the cutest papers and it just so happens that Kate's Kitchen is perfect for my family's kitchen as it's mostly yellows, blacks and reds.  I used Cricut Craft Room build 60 which is an update and while there are still a few snags here and there - I LOVE the fact that my Imagine can layer images that weren't meant to be layered!!!

Black Semi Gloss Spray Paint
Adhesive
Foam pop dots

Goodbye Summer

Hi ya everyone!
Well in our house Labor Day is a goodbye to summer and hello new school year. So for my project today I decided to make a little project for my daughter to give to her new third grade teacher. Since summer is ending I thought Blossom was a good cartridge to use for those yummy papers. It will probably be the last time I pull it out until Spring. Enjoy my project and please ask questions or leave comments!!!

Dream Bookmark - The Imagine and Iron On Transfer

Hi ya everyone!  I love fabrics because they add so much dimension and texture to any project.  I kept my love of fabrics in mind when I created this bookmark.  Reading is a getaway of sorts for me and because of this I decided DREAM would be a perfect sentiment for a bookmark.  Isn't that the great thing about books.  You can sort of dream yourself into another world and time.  Getting lost in a good book is about as wonderful as getting lost in my craft room!  Now, combine those two loves and you get this simple yet beautiful bookmark!
Recipe
Imgaine
Cricut Craftroom
Iron on Transfer Paper for InkJet printer
Imagine cartridge Imagine More Cards - for patterns
Imagine cartridge Blast Off - for font
Imagine cartridge Lori's Garden - for image
Iron
White Canvas Material
Ribbon
DCWV paper - Glam Girl
Adding some simple stitching will ensure my canvas doesn't fray completely away - but I did fray the sides a bit for more texture.
Adding the ribbon was sort of an afterthought.  I wanted a delicate touch.  I simply added a strip of ribbon adhesive and bunched the gingham ribbon on the pink satin ribbon.  Finally, I stitched across them both using the same pink thread I used on the earlier.

Just Add Coffee - Creative Critterz Imaginations Self Layout

Hi ya everyone!  Today is my day to share at the Creative Critterz Imaginations blog.  This week we are creating layouts about ourselves!  Talk about a difficult theme! LOL!!  My day always starts with a cup of coffee and well without it I'm just not me hence the title of Just Add Coffee!  I used Cricut Craft Room *please note that Cricut Craft Room is open to beta testers at this point and not the public* to design my layout.  Did you know that you can see each element of your 12 x 12 page?  I love this feature.  I can see exactly what I like before I cut and print paper!  What does this mean?? You save paper and time...and who doesn't like that!

Recipe:
Imagine
12 x 12 White Paper
Cricut Imagine Yummy Cartridge
Cricut Mini Monograms Cartridge
Cricut Calligraphy Collection Cartridge
Glitter Glue
Small foam pop dots
Pearls
Sewing Machine for Stitching
I completed each element on the Cricut Craft Room program.  I then turned to my Imagine and sized each element based on the settings on the Craft Room.
I used the layers feature a number of times to separate layers on the Imagine.  For each I added small pop dots to create dimension.
I added stitching, pearls and sparkle to the layout for an extra finishing touch.
